Welcome everyone!

Time to say some stuff about the famous drag queen, RuPaul. So why are we talking about her? What has happened? Oh let me tell you. 

So, I think many people, especially people who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community, know the tv-show RuPaul’s Drag Race. And I think many people love the show and enjoy watching it. But let me tell you something. Did you know that in RPDR only men are allowed? Yes, only men. Only drag queens who are men are allowed. And you might think ‘’But aren’t drag queens men? And isn’t it RuPaul who picks everyone? Shouldn’t he be allowed to pick the people he wants to have in the race?’’. Sure, but how many times have we watched it and thought ‘’What a horrific drag queen, what is she doing here?’’. Yeah and not even transmen have been on RPDR. Transwomen and women should also be allowed to drag and take a part of RPDR. Look, if a women LOVES drag and if she’s REALLY good at it... Why can’t she be in RPDR? Remember that women and transpeople gave birth to drag. They were a big part of drag, they are the roots of drag.

I don’t get Ru’s way of thinking... If I was her, I would pick both drag queens and kings. Yes sisters, drag kings do exist. And notice how it’s called RuPaul’s DRAG Race. It’s not called RuPaul’s DRAG QUEEN Race, it’s called RuPaul’s DRAG Race. Then why are only queens allowed? Huh? Answer that RuPaul.

Finally, my local library is open and I can borrow physical books again! I’ve been reading a number of e-books while everything’s been locked down, but taking pictures of those books for a book blog is... difficult.
