Lavender is by far my favorite flower. My mom used to hang a little satchel of it over my bed to help me sleep. and i think that is where my love of it began.

Lavender is great for attracting men into your life. you can infuse clean water with lavender flowers, this can be done with oils as well, p prefer the water method then i just wear it.

If you already have found love, lavender can be burned or used in satchels around the house to help with discourse with your partner. {please note that communication will help best <3 don't just ignore the problem and slap some lavender on it. the lavender is an aid.}

Like my mom used to do, you can keep lavender in a satchel above your bed to help with restless nights.

I love to burn lavender inside a small ball of mugwart to help with my meditation, as it has calming effects, and protection effects. {please use a fire safe dish to burn any herbs, and be aware of fire safety <3} *mugwort is a good cleansing herb I will have a post about it soon*

Lavender and chamomile do great together in a tea for when you just need to let go of some stress. {please check to make sure you are using food grade ingredients.}

I love to sprinkle dried lavender outside the doorways to my home to help protect it from negative energy. {always make sure that anything you put outside wont harm your native environment}

Lavender can also be blended with fresh aloe to help with sun burns. {please don't cover serious burns with anything that will trap the heat. lotions will trap heat}

Before making this post I didn't really know much about Vervain, except that it has a dope name. {vervain can be consumed, but please avoid consumption if you have any sort of kidney problems, as vervain can irritate or worsen kidney conditions.}

Because of Vervains protection and purification properties, it can be used to cleans spiritual places and alters. weather as charms or burned as an incense. you can also sprinkle it around your house to protect it from evil spirits {make sure it wont harm your natural wildlife.}

Many roman solders would war vervain in satchels for Protection in battle, so why not follow their lead and do the same.

From what i can tell, the most popular use of Vervain, is as a tea. It can be used for aiding in astral, or divination work. An added bonus of drinking this tea, is that it can aid digestive issues. all the way from toothaches to ulcers! plus with some honey added!!! double antimicrobial tea lol.

Vervain has been used in both witchcraft and anti witchcraft spells. ironic right. It was well loved by the church, as a holy plant, but was also frequently used by pagans as a spiritual healing and protection herb.

Due to its protective nature, a pinch of this with some motherwort would be a great addition to an evil eye warding charm. or just any evil warding charms or spells.

It used to be believed that the undiluted? or unfiltered juice? they believed the juice could grant wishes. This lead to it being used in love spells, success spells, ect.

Yarrow, often mistaken for Queen Anne's lace, Sweet fennel, And deadly hemlock. I haven't used it much in my practice, but after doing all this research on it I might just have to start! {not always safe to consume, make sure the products you use don't have the chemical thujone in them, and look up safe amounts to consume online. do not consume if you are taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication}

Since yarrow has protective and banishing properties, satchels over entry ways, or carried with you is a great way to protect yourself from negative energy.

you can seep yarrow in clean water. Then the water can be used to clean evocation tools to attract good spirits, and block dark spirits. You can also wash divination tools to help support clearer psychic vision.

just like with lavender, you can sprinkle the flowers around your home, charging them with the sun or moon is also good. this is a good way to protect the home from dark or unwanted spirits or energy.

Yarrow does have romantic properties... though they are not very strong. This makes them perfect for spells where you don't necessarily want to force anyone to love you, but rather get things started.

Mugwort is an amazing tool for anyone! it has so many properties magickly and chemically. I use Mugwort every time i do a ritual, spell, or meditation. Even on occation i will consume it. {please never consume mugwort essential oil as it can cause vomiting, confusion, respiratory distress, coma, and seizures. only consume food grade products.}

{DO NOT CONSUME MUGWORT WHILE PREGNANT OR TRYING TO BECOME PREGNANT AS IT CAN CAUSE A MISCARRIGE!!!}

Mugwort is perfect for meditations as it has mild psychoactive effects, and has an excellent burn time. I often will ball up herbs that is wish to use for spell work or tarot inside of some mugwort and burn it in a dish as I get in the zone. You can also brew a tea with mugwort and other herbs before your meditation.

A good use for Mugwort is cleansing your space, as well as your divination tools. I will sometimes infuse water and vinegar with the herb to use when I clean my alter and tools, or any space really.

Infusing oil with mugwort is good as well and can be wiped around entrances and windows to prevent negitive energy from entering a home.

Leaving satchels of mugwort as well as other dream promoting herbs can help with psychic, and or lucid dreams.

One thing i haven't gotten to do but really want to one day, is to plant mugwort in your garden to attract the fae.

I personally don't do this out of respect for other cultures, but if you are of those cultures, mugwort can be used in smudging sticks for cleansing of spaces.

When people talk about roses in spell work, the first thing you think of is love. Roses are great for so much more than love spells, they have so much potential that gets overlooked. {the leaves petals and rose hips can be consumed. be carful when consuming rosehips as they have tiny fibers that can cause splinters in your digestive tract, consume properly.}

Of course you can use rose in attraction and beauty spells, infusing water with red rose petals then wearing it like a perfume to attract love and such, or simply making your tea with a few pink petals for self love or beauty spells. But you can also use them for divination spells, psychic ability's.

I like to burn petals with mugwort to help with meditation before preforming tarot readings, or I will make a tea. sometimes just placing a few petals on my alter just to support a balanced atmosphere during spell work.

Rose is great for luck charms. placing a few inside a locket to be worn or making good luck satchel to keep on your person.

Need protection from evil eye? try throwing a rose petal or two into your evil eye charm. yellow or white is best for this.

Using rose petals can be used as support in dream satchels. using the right ones based on your intentions, say you want to dream about your next romantic partner, you could use red rose. or if you want to dream about what is the best decision to make, a few pink petals can do the trick. so on and so forth.

a majority of my spell work involves burning things {don't know what that says about me but. } so i usually just use them as incense during spells. But here is a list of things that you can do with them.

burn them as incense

infuse them in water or oil

make tea

add them to bath water

add them to wax melts

make charms with them

place them on your alters

carry petals around

cook with them as an herb

Rose is just a good support herb. it can be used in so many types of spell work. and can be use in whatever way the spell caster seems fit. and not only does it have good magical uses, it has some good physical ones as well.

roses smell amazing so they can be infused with oil to be used as incense, or in your bath water. consuming rose leaves, petals, or hips can act as minor anti-inflammatories and aid digestion.

{make sure any essential oils you use are safe and toxin free!!! and do not consume if you suspect they may be harmful.}
