Arrange as many tealight candles (or whatever you prefer) as possible in a safe, flat place. Light all of the candles, and as you do say “Brigid grant me creativity, grant me purpose.” Once all the candles are lit repeat this spell “The great Goddess Brigid was known by many names, Breed, Brigit and Bride - you are all one and the same. On this Imbolc sabbat, I call you by candlelight, grant me with creativity and purpose this night. By light and magick, this spell is spun, for the good of all, with harm to none.” Allow the candles to burn out in a safe place.

Tuesday carries the energetic currents of its planetary ruler, Mars, and thus is also related to the God of war. If you notice some war-like currents floating among those you encounter today, you can protect yourself by making a protection charm bag. 

Simply gather a small pouch, bag or square of fabric, plus a small polished protective stone (I’m using obsidian, but you can use whatever you like), and any three of the following Mars-associated herbs: pine needles, allspice, basil, cumin or tobacco. Concentrate on your intent for protection as you add each ingredient to the bag or fabric. After all ingredients have been added, close up the bag or tie up the corners of the fabric. Hold the bag and visualize a protective force field of energy being emitted from the bag. Chant three times: Charm bag of Mars, protect me from warlike energy. Blessed be! Carry the charm bag in a pocket or wear as a necklace.
