inspired by @alicenchanted to try my hand at mood boards, did one for our fav king: the king of the hidden ones! Artwork in top right corner from: the book club kit the rest are from Pinterest
Happy holidays! I have some Emily and Wendell drawings to share to spread winter joy and holiday cheer!
The first is a redraw of The Kiss by Gustav Klimt, I really like this painting and I immediately thought of Wendell and Emily after reading the third book (if you know you know)
The second was my attempt at doing the Apple core trend I’ve seen floating around the internet; I’m not 100% satisfied with it because profiles are hard!
The third are some memes I thought would be fun to put Emily and Wendell in
And then we have little kitten Orga, hiding out in one of Wendell’s shoes. It’s never explained how he ended up with her, so I like to think that the cat distribution system is alive and well even in Fairyland (where the trees have eyes) and Orga followed him home one day, as if to say “you have a cat now”. And how could a tiny Wendell say no to her cute face? So he hid her in his closet and it wasn’t until a few months passed by before anyone knew he had let the Beast of the Elderwood into the castle.
Emily Wilde, Alternative Universe - Modern Times (I guess)
This is what I somewhat envision Emily's Instagram to look like: professional, sharing her love for Cambridge, and glimpses into her daily work. (She posts once every few months because she is a "researcher not an Influencer, really Wendell!"

🤍 Comforting Thoughts - Winter Edition -
The first snow fall.
Pawprints from your pet in the snow.
Hot coco by the window watching a snow fall
The warmth of a fireplace.
Cookies in the oven.
Soup and stew.
Getting into a nice warm bed.
Heated blankets.
Winter break.
The little lights you see all around town.
Decorating the Christmas tree.
The smell for cinnamon and pine in every room.
When Christmas day arrive.
The night before Christmas.
Those tiny chocolates in every advent calender.
Receiving christmas cards from special people.
The first step you take as the heat washes over you when entering into house after having been in the cold.
Christmas songs and carols.
Warm hands.
Soft gloves and scarfs.
Snow on your nose.
Seeing reindeer in a group.
The first step in fresh snow.
The crunching sound snow makes when you walk on it.
