I'm getting Winter Shepard x Kaidan Alenko vibes here. It's going to take a lot of healing for these two to rekindle their relationship, but Winter seeing Kaidan hurt on Mars... it guts them. And they've missed him. A lot.
Horizon wasn't "little." Winter enjoyed their ME2-era fling with Miranda. Kaidan dated others in the meantime, too. But Winter fell hard for Kaidan during ME1. A depth of feelings they didn't realize until Mars, and its aftermath. I can't blame these two for trying to restore what they had in the midst of Reapers invading the galaxy. <3
