Kix closes his eyes and sighs as Jesse's loving, gentle fingers settle each wayward feather back into place. As each feather is carefully smoothed down, Kix feels something loosen in his chest—he can breathe again and finally let go of the adrenalin and stress of the medbay.

He’s hyperventilating now and drops to his knees gripping tightly at his scalp, his blue eyes now tiny shaky discs. Web is Oliver! Web is Oliver! Web is Oliver who wants his head on a pike! He was screwed! He had already done something! Web was Oliver who desired to watch him pay for what he did to the boy. He was certainly in trouble. His wings fall to the floor sprawling out as he shivers and shakes. Oh if Oliver was here…If he saw him here…Oh no!

He shrugs, clearly not caring about the blatant warning the anon was clearly trying to give him.

Dr Swan blinks softly then squints and tilts his head to one side slightly confused.

“Wait I thought you told me they were bad? That doesn’t sound like bad at all! Sounds kinda like me honestly…Well not the heretic part but..”

He trails off, hand under chin and eyes at the floor thinking to himself. They did sure sound like how someone described him back in the day. Huh. Maybe he should just say hello to this Joy. His wings curl around him feeling like a nice blanket, soft.

He is giving the anon a deadpanned look now, arms out wide, his wings adding to his arm’s movements.

“I JUST got here! So no I don’t know who they are or what’s going on…Well except a Joy? Though I did just receive a warning for this ‘Joy’” he gives the name JOY air quotations, “But other than that no I don’t…”

“P-please don’t take me to Sawyer..! PLEASE!”

He sounded desperate, the Doctor must have really scared him.

And something just runs into the rather large room and just hops into his arms. He has to catch it even if the urge to drop the thing was through the roof. His blue eyes were wide with surprise as he just stares at the mini Catnap, who now is begging for him not to bring them to Sawyer and he feels that is a valid response.

“If the fucker doesn’t need you I won’t…But if he does, I have to give you back to him. Per rules of our contract…”

That was ominous as hell. Though he hated the man, they did work together on things, especially experiments. Though he did also have a large hatred for the man too, that normally outweighed certain opinions.
