Chateau Taillefer - 2011 - Pomerol - i decanted it 😉, it was a good idea 👍😜 - 👀 A beautiful garnet red color - 👃A fruity nose with medium powerfull. Small red fruits. Soft vanilla. Lightly toasted and woody. - 👄👅 A nice attack in the mouth. nice balance with fruity notes of red fruits (raspberry - currant- cassis ). Light notes of vanilla, liquorice and coffre. tannins well balanced. A wine that can still be preserved. France - 🇫🇷 - Bordeaux - Pomerol. 🍇 Cabernet Franc - Merlot ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Château Taillefer, in the south of the Pomerol appellation, is an elegant house with a classical architecture that was already surrounded by vines in 1764, as maps of Pierre Belleyme, the engineer-geographer. It is also the first property acquired by the Moueix family, the other being the Château Tauzinat l'Hermitage, a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. Today, Catherine Moueix chairs the two fields, with Denis Dubourdieu, President of the Faculty of Oenology of Bordeaux, as oenologist and consultant. The 12 hectares of vineyards are facing south and occupy a sand-gravel soil particularly rich in iron scum. The name of the place comes from elsewhere of this peculiarity pedological.
