It has been a while since my last Bordeaux wine, nevertheless a white. Entre-Deux-Mers is a sub-region where we can find good value white, red and sweet Bordeaux wines. This wine is a blend of Sauvignon blanc, Semillon with a touch of Muscadelle. I have already presented a beautiful full-bodied wine from Vigneron Chaigne et Fils @rchbx so I was excited to taste something else from their portfolio! A medium deep golden color with silver hue and a medium plus viscosity appear in the glass. The nose has freshly cut grass, green bell pepper, lemonpeel, elderflower, acacia, apricot and grapefruit. Dry wine with high acidity, medium alcohol and medium body. Flavours of lemon, grapefruit, green bell pepper and elderflower leads us to a medium plus lenght. A very good quality wine which best to drink in the next 3-5 years when it is chilled to 8-10°C. Have it next to a charcuterie board, seafood platter, sushi or creamy cheeses.
