Pictured is our Pear, Pecan Nutmeg Goat Cheese ~Pair With~ Albarino, Cava, Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc . . π· π π§ . . ::Ingredients:: 1.2oz Freeze Dried/ Dehydrated Pears 2 oz Dried Pears 3 oz walnuts 1 tbsp Nutmeg 10oz Goat Cheese log . . π· π π . . A fun twist on this: _Make pecan & nutmeg goat cheese. _Roast halved pears in the oven at 375F for 10-12 minutes. _Let pears cool for 15-20 minutes. _Scoop goat cheese into pear halves & serve immediately. _Sprinkle with pecan bits _Optional: Drizzle honey & balsamic glaze . . π· π π . . Chop dried pears into fine pieces. Leave some whole for garnish & texture . . π· π π . . Take the air out of the freeze-dried/ dehydrated pears packaging, reseal bag & with kitchen hammer, large spoon or another kitchen tool, smash pears almost entirely. (Think dusty, crumbly pieces.) . . π· π π . . Blend Walnuts in Ninja, Food Processor, Vitamix or similar kitchen tool. Be sure to leave a little crunch, donβt blend for too long or Walnuts will turn into butter. . . π· π π§ . . Add dehydrated & dried pears, nutmeg & blended walnuts into a bowl with a goat cheese log. . . π· π π . . Using a fork, spoon or your hands fold them all together, until goat cheese is no longer white & there are no patches of plain goat cheese. . . π· π π . .
