people seem to be upset about toni saying “i don’t think there’s any one thing you could do differently that would replace the feeling he gets from having a father” and i don’t think it’s that shocking of a thing for her to say? for one thing, that’s how her generation was raised, and that’s not a mindset you can just get rid of, especially if you’re not seeing it as an issue. and ultimately, what’s the most important thing here is what hen and karen do as denny’s parents, which yes they let nathanial keep seeing him, but very specifically on THEIR terms and based on THEIR trust in him, and because it clearly is something DENNY wants. HE wants to know his father and have that relationship. how well would it go for them to bar them completely from seeing each other? i do not at all agree with how nathanial and denny went behind hen and karen’s backs, but i also don’t think it was done to spite them or imply that they aren’t good enough parents without a father figure in the picture

reading deathstroke 2016 is actually so fucking funny because you cannot take slade seriously AT ALL this book is a comedy one minute hes swearing he’s a religious man while killing and maiming and the next he’s stealing wally’s fucking speed?? but then you get like three pages of the most mind blowing heart wrenching shit regarding his kid’s or tara and you have to stop and collect yourself because holy FUCK
