She can go for a gentle walk for about 15 minutes before she gets sore and starts limping so we've been having quiet days, much to her chagrin. She so desperately wants to frolic and play, but she's on strict vet orders to rest until her stitches are out.

I've been trick training and puzzle gaming endlessly with her, and all she wants to do is wrestle. Today I set some very difficult nosework games in the house and I think it was enough to finally wear her out. Looking forwards to being able to walk, run, ski and play again though.

It’s ultimately a song about bearding...(even the music video follows this logic sort of to me)

This I believe is making fun of the people that think that she will follow “her man” blindly, whether or not he’s faithful to her or not, whether or not he interferes with her plans or in the general sense has power over her situations, she’s supposed to be portrayed as / be someone that “sticks by her man cause they can do no wrong” and even want him to marry her because they’ve been dating for “three years” even though her original coming out plan was ruined with Lover/ masters situation

Toe never had to work for anything a day in his life from what I’ve read on here and looked up a bit personally. He had everything handed to him like a willow to the wind.

No one believes that Taylor can both live her truth not only through her music but I’m real life, so she has to beard time and time again, even though she doesn’t really want to deep down - hence what ME!, Cruel Summer, Archer, and Daylight are about in my mind - the ridiculous bearding experience

She will go with the story and continue to beard for now - say whatever she ways about him because no one believes they’re real and she has complete control over the situation - but will come back better than what Lover was originally intended for (to be a coming out record but went bust)

I think this is her meeting with her true lover. The only time they can meet - dark rooms, in the dark, after dark, and they tell her all about their past loves and scarlet letters like in New Romantics

Now this is an open shut case

I guess I shoulda known from the look on your face

Every bait and switch was a work of art

Every time she had bearded, it was the same predictable ending and she was in control of every bait and switch

But the more he says ( or doesnt say) the less everyone knows about him (Toe), the easier it will be for her to come and share her truth one day.
