đ: Aside from with your F/O, who else would you commonly be shipped with? Why?
Even not counting the fandom's irrational aversion to the game we debut in, it's hard to think of any ship people would consider over shipping me with Madeline. The novel about my backstory would explicitly say I'm not attracted to men, and Melissa's off the table as a ship option due to the parent-child themes there.
That just leaves Samus and a smattering of female characters I never meet. I could see people shipping Samus/Madeline/Peyton, maybe! But that's about it. Me and Madeline too blatantly revolve around each other in our canon for me to imagine people considering any ships with me that don't include her in some way.
đ: What tropes show up in fics involving your ship?
Pining. Lots and lots of pining, one-sided from me when we're kids and mutual when we're adults. And hurt/comfort, too. Both of which are also just how we are in canon.

Oh yeah, fics where we have to huddle together for warmth/safety, either during the Bottle Ship Incident or elsewhere once we're dating, would be super common! That's basically what we're doing the first time we're onscreen. I think sickfics would be popular in the same vein, too, since I'd have a wound on my arm that the novel would reveal Madeline bandaged up.

Merry Christmas @whxptail! I was your Secret Santa for the selfship exchange, so here's the fic I wrote for you!
I was looking over your lore for the ship and saw stuff about Lucifer and Lyubov having a kind of second chance romance thing as well as a post you made about the two of them living together with the raptors in the woods, so I thought that would be a fun thing to explore. And of course I wanted to find a way to work your dino kids in too, so this is a thing set a while after Lucifer and Lyubov get back together and move into a cabin in the woods, with Lyubov and Lucifer taking care of an injured Panthera and some stuff about them resuming their relationship. I hope you like it!

Lucifer finds Lyubov outside of the cabin buried deep in the woods theyâve been staying in. Itâs not usually hard for them to find herâ the two of them are alone out here, aside from Derby and Lyubovâs pack of raptors. They hardly ever see any other humans out here though, something that gives Lucifer a nice break from some of the more draining aspects of celebrity.Â
Luciferâs sure that Lyubov notices her as she approaches. One of the many skills both a bodyguard and an assassin has to have is being able to notice when someoneâs getting closer, though right now, she doesnât look in their direction. Instead sheâs completely focused on tending to her raptors, kneeling by Panthera.Â
âWhat happened?â Lucifer asks.Â
Lyubov looks up at Lucifer, her large eyes meeting theirs before she motions to come closer with her head, her hands not leaving Pantheraâs leg as the raptor tries to wiggle herself away. As they approach, they can see that Lyubovâs been wrapping some bandages around Pantheraâs leg. She must have gotten injured, though how is a mystery.
âOh, God, is she alright?â Lucifer asks. While Lyubovâs raptor pack has still been taking time to warm up to her again, she knows just how important the pack is to her girlfriend. Theyâre sure sheâs been worried sick about Panthera, even if it does look like sheâs doing a good job of taking care of her.Â
Lyubov nods as she fixes the bandages in place, her hands now free so she can sign, âShe got caught up in a hunterâs trap in the woods. I was able to get her out without much issue, but her leg was hurt.â
Lucifer frowns. âPoor thing. Good thing you were able to get her out of there.â
Lyubov nods, though there's a displeased look on her face, her eyebrows furrowed as she watches Panthera take a couple of steps, seemingly a bit unsteady on her injured leg. Sheâs no doubt blaming herself for thisâ Panthera may be a bit clumsy, but Lyubov has a motherâs instincts when it comes to her raptors. She cares for them as if they were her children, and Luciferâs sure she's thinking now about ways she could have prevented this from happening. Though if Lucifer knows anything about her girlfriend, she's sure she did everything she could to keep Panthera and the others safe.Â
Lucifer puts a hand on Lyubovâs shoulderâ something that's easier to do now than when sheâs standing with how tall she isâ and gives her a gentle squeeze.Â
âIâm sure sheâll be doing better soon. You did what you could,â they say.Â
Lyubov doesn't look convinced by that, but she doesn't argue. At least she relaxes a bit with Luciferâs touch. In moments like these, she can almost feel like things are the same as they were before she found out that Lyubov wasn't just a bodyguard, and instead was an assassin.Â
It hasnât been an easy process, learning to trust her partner again after everything. Part of Lucifer still feels betrayed by Lyubov, even if itâs only a small part of them. She doesnât know how much of their original relationship was real and how much was made up, doesnât know how much of Lyubov she actually got to know and how much may have been an act.Â
This is a new start for the two of them. One that Lucifer is still uneasy about, even if she does want Lyubov in her life again, enough for them to move out here together. Both of them still have wounds to tend to from the way things ended the first time, even if they have both started to heal from it. But there are growing pains as they figure out how to be together again. They canât completely wipe the slate clean, and they donât know if they would even want to. Everything theyâve gone through with each other has made their relationship what it is, and thatâs something Lucifer would never trade for anything.Â
Panthera makes a whining sound, nudging her head against Luciferâs free hand. She must have gotten jealous of the attention that her mother was getting from them, now begging for pets like a particularly spoiled dog. Itâs one of the things that Lucifer finds so endearing about Panthera and the raptorsâ for dinosaurs, theyâre surprisingly similar to dogs, even seeming to mirror some canine pack behaviors.Â
Even after years of knowing Panthera and the rest of the raptors, itâs strange to see them out and about, as if their species hadnât originally gone extinct millions of years ago. But Luciferâs admittedly taken a shine to them over time, and it seems theyâve taken a liking to her too. Panthera was the first of the pack that they really felt a connection with, perhaps with her more playful nature making it so she warmed up to them faster.Â
âAwww, poor baby, donât worry, Iâll make sure you get a lot of attention while you get better,â Lucifer promises, scratching along one of her scaly cheeks.Â
Panthera leans into the touch, making some pleased noises now that sheâs gotten what sheâs wanted.
âYouâre very spoiled. You know that, right?â Lucifer says, though she doesnât stop giving the raptor the attention she was begging for.Â
They let Lyubov stand up as they continue to lavish Panthera with affection, glancing down to her wounded leg. Hopefully sheâll get better soonâ theyâre sure the injury wonât keep Panthera down for long, but the way sheâs struggling to put weight on that leg will probably make it a little harder for her to play out in the woods the way she usually likes to in their down time.
When Lucifer looks up at Lyubov, sheâs staring at them and Panthera with a soft look in her eyes, one thatâs achingly affectionate. She always seems to like when Lucifer spends time with the raptors, seeing the ones she cares about most spending time together.Â
Lucifer grins up at her, scritching the side of Pantheraâs face. Itâs nice to see her girlfriend looking so happy and at ease for once, and for just a moment, all of the wounds of the past seem to fade from her mind. Theyâll never be exactly as they were before, but they donât need things to be exactly as they were. Right now, theyâre working towards something good together, something better. It might take time for all of their wounds to heal, but Lucifer has plenty of time if itâs with Lyubov.
I just wanted to say I'm always so excited to see your daily Peyline fic when they pop up on my feed! You guys are one of my ultimate OTPs and it's such a treat to see all the cute moments between you guys! ⥠ď¸âĄ ď¸âĄ ď¸

YES. i think the easiest target for elyse would be lyubov's bangs (/lh) but see. lucifer could easily get elyse back on angell and be like "that's an excessive amount of leather that she's wearing, no?" i think it would be silly for elyse + lucifer to rib each other over their s/o's fashion choices

Oh boy! I do have a few, I have a mermaid AU and a werewolf AU, but there's also the royalty AU >:} It's somewhat inspired by the Prince of Persia movie because it's a guilty pleasure of mine and it's an AU that kinda merges timelines and whatnot.
Essentially, the setting is very different in that PokĂŠmon are treated more like the fae or like yo-kai. Rachel was adopted by a family and Cynthia and Volo are her adopted siblings, with Cogita as their grandmother and the head priestess of their kingdom with Volo as her successor. The other players in the game are the Sootopolitans, Wallace and Lisia, Devon Enterprises that do stuff like mining and whatnot, the Diamond and Pearl clans led by Maxie and Archie respectively, the Draconids that are led by Aster, and then there's Clue and Hint who are the retainers for Alder. There's also Lusamine as Rachel's aunt who's up to some shit :)
Essentially there's a gathering, some awful shit happens that leads to several notable figures getting killed, and it's chaos and everyone is suspect #1, so there's essentially an alliance between a lot of people who Do Not Trust Each Other. Rachel gets stuck with Steven, Lisia, Adaman, Irida, Gladion, and Zinnia while they try to figure out What To Do now that several of their leaders and loved ones are now Dead. So, Clue suggests that they seek the help of a group of notorious ronins that he knows, which is Guzma and Plumeria.
Lusamine has also sicked a bunch of Type: Fulls onto them to try and track them down and kill them to stop them from figuring out what she did. It's a wholeeeeeeeeeee thing.
Teaberry: Where would you like to travel with your F/O someday?
So the main series and Prime series are kept pretty separate in canon, and I don't feel like a canon-compliant version of my ship lore would be an exception. But what we do offscreen ain't beholden to that, so I'm gonna say Tallon IV and Aether!
Both because they're some of the few canon locations that haven't fucking exploded, and they seem like they'd be nice places to visit once the whole Phazon deal is over and life has carried on for their ecosystems. I keep feeling tempted to go boot up a new Prime save after my latest playthrough just to go vibe in Tallon Overworld and Phendrana Drifts, their atmosphere is so nice to just exist in. And I'm really hyped to get to Sanctuary Fortress again in Prime 2!
I also wonder how the interaction between my selfship and the surviving Luminoth would go⌠That's something I gotta write someday.
Blue Moon: Is your F/O very routine-oriented or do they like to go with the flow? How routine-oriented are you?
We're both creatures of routine. (It's the autism, we're pretty sure.)
If I don't have a structure for the day, it's hard to make myself do anything with that time, and I get depressed. Madeline tends to be better at keeping to her plans without falling into that slump, but she's much the same way, and that was at its clearest during her worst depressive episodes after the Bottle Ship Incident. So we make an effort to help each other keep to our routines because we know it keeps us happier and feeling like we're living each day to the fullest.
For example, we've got a bedtime routine where we'll get showered and such, then snuggle up with tea and read next to each other for a while before brushing our teeth and going to bed for real. Sometimes we have to remind each other to finish up whatever we were working on and start that routine so we don't stay up till ungodly hours in the morningâand sometimes we do anyway, we aren't perfectâbut having that shared time to treasure gives us something to look forward to as we unwind at night and keeps our sleep schedules somewhat resembling a human's.
