Weird ship, but some Whirl/Soundwave headcanons would be nice. I like the idea of one openly loyal boi and one closeted in his heavy loyalty to friends and partners alike.
- Everyone is so afraid of them. Soundwave because of his high ranking in the Decepticons and tactical ability, and Whirl because he’s Whirl.
- Others tend to think that Soundwave could have done better, but if they dare say anything like that, or anything derogatory about Whirl, they should be afraid of him.
- They balance each other out quite nicely, Whirl gets Soundwave to be more spontaneous and extroverted, and Soundwave is good at calming Whirl down and reminding him of what’s important, especially if Whirl is getting upset at something small.
More to the rarepair, aka Whirlybird having the worst time and trying to rally the troops to make sure those two don’t get together

Yes this is the most unhinged ship ever, I hold no regret, this exists now in my sketchbook app. They are just funky creatures that exist in my brain. This entire ship is completely outside of my main timeline and Prometheus Prime. This is basically an alternate future where Heatwave doesn’t get with Quickshadow and Chase, and things more or less just stayed the same in the main version, just now Whirligig getting together with his daughter’s teacher. I love shipping Heatwave with blue characters
