I fucking hate how fast Cybertronian society came back in the aligned continuity. Like if going with the main tv shows and events, using RB as a base by the time during that three year in universe gap between season 3 and 4, the events of RID15 are happening in the background. It has to be sometime before Blurr appears there and more or less recent in time. So essentially it took three years to reach the level of repair and society that’s in RID15 despite the corruption to be

…Yeah no I can go with the flow with a lot of things in this continuity but not with that. Especially when it comes to RBA due to Cody not even being his 20s yet, like the fuck. No, I don’t believe that it would come back that fast to get major sport competitions up and running and not have more rescue bots beyond the team and the ones actually confirmed, like there should’ve been more, hell an academy on Cybertron, multiple ones. Even if the four are the technical last ones, there’s gotta be way more bots willing to join to bounce up the numbers, why is there only one class, one team being taught, there should be waaaayyyy more

This was a millions billions year old war, they had no way of creating new bots, they were an endangered species before Optimus sacrificed himself to revive the well. Judging by how many could be left, the number is unclear and whether they were Autobot or Decepticon or just plain neutral who fucking knows but that number probably isn’t a planet’s worth. And what’s happening with the colonies, how are they fitting into all of this, how are they working out, are some coming to populate Cybertron again, they’d probably be more interested in their own planet then the original home planet after so long. Maybe even avoidant to help for their own peoples interests

It would not take what was probably at most maybe 5 human years to clear up everything even with the numbers they may have had due to probably still lingering tensions and also the main two leaders being FUCKING GONE! They live and perceive time much different, judging by the planets each were on or stuck in space, so many would not follow in human time and years at all. This would probably have only been a few weeks or a few months after the war ended, not years. And even if they got use to thinking in human time, that still isn’t a lot of time to rebuild what they did. I personally do not believe that is how much time that it maybe realistically take to have something even look like a functioning society. No way in Unicron, that’s not working

That’s why I put so much emphasis in my take of it being already two decades after the war, and it’s still no where near a full function society. It’s only after where they stop and fully take their own accountabilities in the destruction that it takes yet another decade to reach real normal stability and it’s still progressing with things still needing to be rebuilt, rehabilitation, re everything. In short, the aligned continuity, still my favorite and still what I use for the basis of practically every au I have, but it not be as fast as it was for the canon self.
