GRATEFUL FOR GROWTH. We have made it to December y’all!!! We’re heading towards the heart of Sag season, the season for expansion and growth 🎆 I am taking a moment to reflect on these past 11 months. Y’all don’t wanna know the shell of a person I was. My essence was dying in a codependent, manipulative relationship. I was trying to navigate my identity as a queer black artist who pursued a degree in Int’l Affairs and couldn’t find work in my field, and mostly didn’t want to. I was living somewhere that constantly triggered anxiety and depression. I was mentally and spiritually STUCK. I started with a new therapist on my 26th birthday (Jan 4th ♑️♑️♑️) and began to address all of the trauma, pain, and negativity that had allowed me to succumb to that place. I moved back to NY February 22nd, and ain’t nothing about this been easy, but it’s been worth it.
