government will cover me getting an ipad that isn't exploding and dying but. bc none of the accessibility tech vendors carry ipads it is reimbursement coverage only which means I need to pay it out of pocket and they'll pay me back w no mention of timeline for that to happen. I hate how all of this is structured on the belief that disabled people in this fucking province have savings we can dip into when necessary. the amount they cover is just an entire month of ODSP, which is supposed to cover rent, food, anything else, which isn't already doesn't do. but don't worry you can just hand over that month's worth of survival money and they'll probably give it back to you eventually if your forms are all filled out properly and you picked the right place to buy from and followed all of the instructions perfectly on your own as a person who is getting help for not being able to fucking read. it fucking sucks
