Regarding the character death-warning post: There are fics where it kind of ruins the plot if you use a character death warning, I agree with henrysdunhams on that. But I read a fic a few weeks ago where (I think it was) Rick died and there was no cd-warning. If it was, I wouldn't have read it because I felt upset after it and there are days where that honestly affects my mood. So it probably would be fair towards the readers to use this warning.

Regarding the list with reader's favorite fics: I'd like to add "Surviving Paradise" by drdit92 (considering the stories don't need to be finished yet). Also I said it before but your blog is awesome, I really admire all the work you're doing for this fandom!

About your question about the different layout in the first Castle episode and later: In Pilots the set sometimes looks different than later in the show because,my guess, they don't know if the show really airs later and when it's clear it is, they build the "real" set. Since I'm not sure about this, I just can guess but I noticed that in other shows as well^^
