I am in Maine.
It is very cold and very white here. Like, there are no people of color.
I am in a giant bed far away from K and the boycats.
Getting here was a giant PITA. I left my office at 1pm and got to my hotel room a bit after 11pm, and I have a 10-12 hour workday planned for tomorrow.
I do not make enough money for this.
Still waking up from the dream I lived last weekend. Met so many great queens and so many great people. Can’t wait until next year.
Good night from Iowa
I had a good dinner, nice company, a much-needed hot shower, and at 9:30 I'm ready to crash, though it's barely nightfall.
Exhausted, crampy and bleeding, and missing my girl and the kitties so much.
Hrmph.
I'm stressed and PMSy and Mondo Conference kicks off tomorrow. NOT GREAT BOB.
Maybe I'll get a pedicure or something? I should have gotten a haircut.
I should have gotten a new job.
Womp womp.

OMG TEH DRAMZ
Ive had a 12-hour workday, but I'm headed home, finally.
I might be wrung out to post--TBD after I eat--but although logistically speaking, it's been the smoothest of Mondo Conferences I've run, there has been SO MUCH emotional stuff happening.
So many tears and tantrums! So much hand-holding! So much "pastoral care!" So much oversharing!
Is it because we're all so fatigued/traumatized by our sociopolitical reality?
Really! It's bananas!
Okay, Universe
Get up super-early.
Get out the door ahead of schedule.
Probably end up behind your ETA because shit doesn't work the same before 7 am.
Send good vibes, please.
Suspicious...
It's the Friday before Mondo Conference, and I feel strangely calm? There's still stuff to do, of course, but it seems like a really manageable amount.
Am I just forgetting a whole bunch of things?
