So, about two weeks ago, my father bought one of those buckets of ice cream for our family to share. I had a bowl that night and we all went to bed. No one opened the freezer that day until after supper, when I was asked to fix up bowls of ice cream for everyone. I opened the freezer and the entire tub was missing. We were all pissed and I was accused by both my brothers. Luckily, I had an alibi, as I’d been working on homework all day and had gotten no where near the kitchen that day. We ended up forgetting about blame and moving on.Â
A few days ago, my father bought another bucket of ice cream for us to share. I had a bowl last night as I needed comfort food then and we all went to sleep. Today, I took a mental health day. We had pizza for dinner and then did our own things for a while. About ten minutes ago, I was asked to make a bowl of ice cream for my father.
The bucket was missing again. No one has taken responsibility yet and I have no idea who did it. We’ve searched the house and cannot find it. The only person outside our family who’s been here today is our neighbor, who came over to ask for a painkiller. She could not have taken the bucket.Â
It’s only a matter of time before we’re at eachothers throats.
