Heeere's the first chunk of [Weretober] prompts with Tim's finding himself on a ridiculous roulette of curses via bites, scratches, and other magical methods!
He's gonna be feeling this by the end of the month for real, but honestly he should just stop getting cursed. It's pretty easy. I do it all the time.
(Prompts #1-7 in order: Wolf -> Harpy Eagle -> Orca -> Polar Bear -> Highland Cattle -> Coyote -> Pangolin + Bonus Sketches under cut)
The explanation why the Orcaman doesn't have any clothes, unlike most of the others:
Eagleman's face prior to being told "It doesn't feel Ratman enough" (WHICH I AGREED WITH, IT DIDN'T CAPTURE HIS FERAL ENERGY ENOUGH):
And thumbnails of Cattleman and Coyoteman (the former had so many because I was incredibly undecided. The latter I came up with AFTER I had already finished drawing, which sucks because it's a way better pose HIOLKFJDL):

Ok first off, I love the potential for were-sea creatures... but how does it work? Would they afflicted turn into an extra aggressive mermaid under a full moon?? Or do they turn into a complete animal? I figured since werewolves are portrayed as anthropomorphic wolves(?), the same would apply here? (Though maybe thats just my excuse to picture Norman as an Orca Mermaid XD) what do you think though?
But anyways, I have t h o u g h t s.
First off, I'm guessing more often then not you have to be cursed by a witch or something to be a were-sea creature. Because unless you're a diver or visiting the beach, the chances of being bitten by a cursed fish seem pretty low to me. If so, then depending on how it works, the witch must intend some kind of death sentence to you; if you're cursed to turn into Nemo under the full moon and you need water, then you're probably going to die unless you have a friend who will have the intuition to put you in water 😅
I think thats what happened here. Norman and Lyle pissed off the wrong witch, maybe they killed a loved one of hers that owed them a debt, so she cursed them. But for whatever reason, they were cursed to be were-orcas instead of were-fish (maybe she's not too experienced in curses? Or perhaps this was her intention?)
The symptoms look a bit different than your average lycanthropy; they're both growing more irritable the closer to the full moon it is (and in Lyle's case, that is especially dangerous). Their strength is growing and senses are hyper. Lyle gains more physical strength, but Norman gains more intelligence. The Orca is a very intelligent animal after all.
Norman is smart and more level headed already, so maybe this won't be noticed right away. But Wayne and Dale work closely with him. They notice how frighteningly focused Norman gets when he's given a target, and how his tactical knowledge has subtly shifted; they originally only had a few people that got away from them. Now? Zero chance you can get away. Lyle is very happy with his brother, cousin, and the youngin.
The day before the first full moon, Norman is restless. Quiet, not in the way he normally is. He and Lyle got into a brawl just that afternoon that left him with broken digits and Lyle with a gash on the side of his head, and Dale and Wayne know they gotta shut the hell up while Norman drives. It's strange how the broken bones don't cause Norman to falter. It's too quiet as he drives them, surprising his two companions when they pull up to a lake side. The sky is orange as Norman storms out of the car, feeling some kind of itch thats getting worse by the minute and spurs him to tear at his own skin.
He tosses the keys to Wayne, "Find a hotel." He orders and the two scramble back in the car. Norman doesn't need to explain that he (may) find the hotel room. He needs this evening to himself. When he's alone, he's pacing whole running his hands through his hair, growing more and more restless. Eventually he just- gets in the water as the sun begins to set over the horizon.
The next morning, Norman wakes up to find himself washed back on shore. He tastes blood in his mouth and something tells him its not his own. He feels as if he swam a marathon, and whatever may remain of his clothes are shredded beyond repair. He knows he looks like a washed up tweaker, and he already feels a headache coming on from how he's going to even get to town, let alone find Dale and Wayne (oh god damn it, he left those two idiots on their own last night. They better not have done anything like last time).
And thats Normans first transformation. Eventually he and Lyle reunited, and they both could tell that they had a rough night (Lyle got it worse since he wasn't able to swim around in a lake and was just flopping on the ground- because screw Lyle). By now, they both have gotten a hang of their curses, even if they don't fully understand it. Lyle thinks that its good for business, even if its inconvenient he loses his legs once a moon. Norman is genuinely concerned, but its not like they can do anything about it now. At least the killer instinct is useful. And they can get free seafood now.
Ok and now random orca related stuff for Norman XD
Ooooh what if Norman developed various spots along his body that somewhat resemble an Orcas black spots? As a human it just looks like paler patches of skin, maybe someone would mistake them for scars? But on the full moon they darken and theres no mistaking them?
Oh! Remember your HC of his tattoos? What if he got to keep them in his orca form? Im just imagining idly tracing them while laying on him as he floats in the water. He's fully relaxed, just happy to have you here 🥺
Normans teeth growing sharper even as a human 😳😳😳 (totally not me having a thing for sharp teeth and biting. Wait what?)
Male orcas can grow up to 33 feet long... if we are going the mermaid form route, thats a big orca merman 😳 (he's more than likely smaller than a regular orca, but still XD)
Oooh Orcas use echolocation too!!! Imagine Norman developing a whistling habit because of this? Or he hums when they have to be discreet? That might not be as effective though, especially when he's trying to determine if the person in front of him is armed.
Orcas are extremely fast swimmers and have been recorded at speeds of up to 33.5 mph (54 kph). Imagine how fast were!orca!Norman would be 😳
Orcas are a matriarchal society, with the grandmother usually leading pods. It was already wrong to follow his brother because of how awful he was, but now his orca instincts are pressuring him to rebel all together (unless Y/N *cough* me is his age or older though, I'm not 100% certain if his orca instincts would say she should be the leader. But he won't tolerate anyone disrespecting her anyway).
Orcas are also surprisingly affectionate for being the apex predators of the ocean. You may mainly see this with family, especially mothers and grandmothers, but I'm sure this'll affect Norman as well 👀 (i know you HC he's not into PDA, and I can see that. But what if were!orca!Norman leans more into PDA?? 🥺🥺🥺 (especially when closer to the full moon and feeling territorial. Ok moving on-))
Ok thats all I got XD thank you so much for this ask! ^^

2 Day of Weretober [ORCA]
Turning a cetacean into a werewolf is quite an interesting task!
Initially, before the drawing and the second day of the challange, I already knew what kind of picture I wanted to get.
With work on anatomy I got a lot of help from the old movie "Creature" 1998 by Peter Bradford Benchley, the anatomy of his creature was realistic and alive.
