Had someone ask me the other day why I don't usually do phone readings, very skeptically, as if that sonehow made me less capable or sus or something. I explained my reasoning to them and figured it may behoove me to explain here as well. I will do phone readings upon request but I much prefer, and let the client know that I prefer, to send a write up and here's why: with a write up the client has a written record of the reading to reference at any time in the future. which is quite useful when utilizing tarot to existentially sort yourself and your path out. With future predictions as well. It's really common to not retain the full scope of a phone reading, thus the reader can get away with less accuracy. A lot of readers sadly use their charm to hide their lack of actual talent. Don't get me wrong here- I'm not saying every reader who does phone or video readings only is a hack- not at all. HOWEVER I do believe that write ups hold the reader more accountable to the readings they are giving.
