Pencil did whatever she could to get Needle OUT of FreeSmart in BFDIA. She saw Needle as too independent and someone she couldn't wrangle and that is why.
However, in IDFB, things are different. Pencil suddenly finds herself fawning over Needle and goes "shit" and asks Needle out. Needle is currently in a phase of mending relationships with people-- particularly Coiny and Pin-- so she figured yeah. Sure, let's try this.
WOW! She and Pencil actually go on a date and it's romantic and stuff. Pin is alarmed and advises Needle against it, concerned about what could become of it, but Needle thinks things are going well.
Things become really serious between Pencil and Needle but. But. While they can be sweet and sappy one day, they're arguing and fighting the next. They're both at a point where they really can't work, no matter how much they want to-- so they're taking breaks from each other and then kissing. And then fighting and breaking up, just to get back together. Needle eventually realizes that this is not healthy behavior.
What if the reason Pencil is already in a bad mood the day Ice Cube and Book leave FreeSmart is because Needle finally broke things off with Pencil for good? Shit is falling apart for Pencil and she cant even have control over her relationship and now Ice Cube is leaving. Oh. Oh, Book is leaving too. Ok. Pencil will take this out on them

Hello hello! I do indeed redux episodes! I'm currently drafting season 1 still, as well as fleshing out the whole cast x-x
Redux!BFDIA 21 will be a challenge episode. Canon!BFDIA 21 and 22 will be merged here. (I have not seen BFDIA 22 yet), so the host and elimination will be revealed during Cake at Stake.
No matter who gets eliminated, there will be an emotional Pin moment. Pin and Coiny do not make up that easily as Pin has been sitting on a mountain of negativity and built incredibly high walls around herself. Coiny doesn't know how to get through those walls yet. Leafy will be hanging out with Pin some, whether it's by checking in on her during the challenge or dipping from hosting to hang out with her.
TPOT 19 raises one in my head for the redux. Why is Two responsive now, after months of nothing?
Simple answer: They've been projecting themself somewhere in their domain, somewhere the eliminated contestants can't reach. They've been leaving only to collect whatever food and drinks X has dropped off for them-- but sometimes they just. Don't bother.
Four taking Two's power like that... I'm iffy. Two is the most powerful algebralien(outside of 2763). It could be plausible, as Two hasn't been taking good care of themself, and thus their power drains enough for Four to take the rest or borrow it. The other option is Four catching Two the one time they're not projecting and asking Two for permission to have access to their domain because Two won't host-- and someone has to.
Two complies, so Four can do that. And project himself into Two's domain to get them to come OUT. Cue their talk as Four realizes One is lingering. Four may also try to get Two to fix the crack in the sky and Two will just. Kinda roll away sadly. Four asks Two for their power, Two questions why, Four snaps about the crack, and Two gives in. The rest of the episode may go similar to canon.
I've got a lot of work to do before I get to either episode 😅
Should I post redux episodes in a written format somewhere? Here on Tumblr and/or AO3? It'd be a while before I get to final drafts of episode rewrites that I'm happy with because redux is still in its early stages. it's constantly changing and growing but . ? I love posting my writing here so that WILL happen either way. what do you guys think

Two FINALLY SPOKE ❤️🩹 and they're blaming themself for what happened to Gaty who was. Indeed erased from reality (what the hell One)
They still refuse to get out of bed jfc
One made the crack in reality even worse,. SO much worse . And it seems Four is the one who locked her away in the moon and she kidnapped or killed the other numbers.

Grassy. Dude. Grassy this whole episode was looking for a new caretaker basrd on strength and latched onto Pencil who DOES NOT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIM. She's in her own world right now, totally angsty.
At first Pencil is ready to KILL grassy, then he gives her Two's power and keeps on following her around. It escalates to her physically hurting him and him just. Falling apart
I can't blame him! it's been a rough day
Pencil goes on to hide grassy in the vents 🥹 okay!
One separates Donut from his group and threatens him for some of Two's power. Donut refuses and Barf Bag and Basketball get fucking WIPED OUT 😭😭😭😭🫠
Recovery center name reveal: Wireless Recovery Center
One manipulates Pencil into taking any and all power Pencil has (including Four's), kidnaps Four and Black Hole, and then goes HAM with the power she's got.

What does this mean for the redux?
Finishing Bottle's character proposal then doing Grassy's.
Redux!TPOT 19 is probably going to look very different because of the algebralien power scaling I have set up.. but with Two's power draining the longer they're not taking care of themself, I can see it getting to a point where Four can take that power.
Why is Two responding now but not so much before?? Redux Two is probably going to like, uh. Br spending a lot of their time projecting in a secluded part of thejr domain most of the time, only leaving to grab whatever food/drink X and Four left behind for them.
I really want Two to be the one to lock One away with a magic barrier that gets broken when the moon does. It fuels whatever rage One has towards Two.
I'd like to think One convinced Two to give her a bit of their power. Just a little. And she abused it. That's what gets her locked away
Three probably got some of that power too. Possibly worked with One and then deeply regretted it, so bad that they wanted consequences. I'm talking "kill me' consequences and Two refuses. Four's willing to do it but Two urges him not to. So Three is sent to Four's domain maybe

Thinking about the wildlife of Goiky. Specifically bugs. Like.. that's a whole area of spec bio I could do. I LOVE spec bio.
Relatively fragile with a venomous sting. Their own venom can be used against them to create an anti-venom. They live in hives like bees. They're omnivorous.
For now they're their own bugs,, in their own genus. Strongylosoma fonias, meaning something like round-bodied killer? I think? I haven't done a scientific name for speculative species before
