WEBPRIL 2022
As we approach April 2022, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who participated in last year's Webpril! Especially to @/stefciastark, @/sdottkrames, and @/zanderljones for completing most or all of the prompts!
First off, I'd like to welcome our new mod: @anarchyduck! They'll be helping out this year.
Secondly, we have a new rule for this year to make finding your posts easier: please mention (@) our blog when posting your submissions if you want to be included in our masterlist.
The prompts will be posted on Monday, March 28 (12 am GMT), but don't post your submissions until Webpril officially starts!
I hope we can have another successful Webpril this year!

Day 30: âIâm sorry. I promise-â
I am posting this final chapter with an hour left of April. This was such a challenge for me - writing every single day, being okay with what I wrote while not overthinking or being overly critical. I just wrote to write. And I think it turned out beautifully. A HUGE thank you to every single reader, follower, subscriber, quiet lurker, whoever! I value your thoughts and time and I canât wait to see what projects come next!

Day 29: âPlease, I-â
"I'm sorry. I promise-" ~Webpril Day 30
A/N: Here is the final prompt fill! It's crazy to think it's been a whole month of writing every day, and thank you all so much for continuing to support me and leave comments behind and everything, it means so much. Thank you as well to @webpril for making this amazing challenge! It's my first time back into the world of writing after many many years of putting it on the back burner, and I've enjoyed this challenge so much and I'm really surprised and happy that I managed to get all 30 days done without bailing out lmao. It's going to feel super strange not pumping out one prompt fill per day, but it was fun while it lasted! I have loads of WIP that will be getting uploaded/updated after I take a couple of days off of writing, so keep an eye out for those! Hope you enjoy :) x

As Tony weaved in and out between the buildings of midtown Manhattan, he was keeping an eye on Peterâs suit. More precisely, the dashcam-like footage feed that relayed from Peterâs mask into Tonyâs HUD. Even though heâd seen Peter navigating the concrete jungle like a spider monkey before, he still internally braced himself to see the kid crash face-first into a block of apartments or miss a web altogether and fall a couple hundred feet.
What worried Tony the most though, was watching combat through Peterâs eyes. The sheer quantity of near misses... it made Tony flinch when he was paying too much attention to Peterâs camera feed and not enough to Tonyâs reality in front of his own eyes.
As Tony took a left down a nearby alleyway, he saw Steve fending off seven of the strange creatures. They looked like a cousin of the Chitauri, but instead of the skin being a sickly shade of pale green - or yellow, none of them could come to an agreement - they were a dark red. It was almost sickening to look at; their skin looked permanently slick with blood, and Tony was going to have to get his hearing checked after the piercing cries heâd been hearing nonstop for the last two hours.

Adopted By the Avengers ~Webpril Day 29
A/N: Sometimes all it takes is a kid from Queens moving in the bring the Avengers back together. A slight AU where after Siberia the Avengers all still live together and Peter moves in to the facility. I'm not gonna lie when I say I struggled with this one lmao It's in a bit of a different style to what I usually write in I guess, just wanted to try something new. Just one more fill to go! It's going to be so strange not staying up until 3 in the morning trying to get these done after a whole month of it.

The Avengers had adopted many things over the years. After New York, there had been a cat that lurked at the base of the Stark Tower Complex that Natasha had all but brought into the complex itself. After discovering that the catâs body was the house for many a disease, Bruce had kicked up a fuss with Tony and Clint - who wasnât a cat man - on his side. They never saw the feline again.
After Ultron, the Avengers had adopted what became a form of custom. Each morning at around one-thirty, they would gather in the common area that overlooked the city and silently pour themselves a drink. They would sit in silence in various forms of dress; some still wore their suits and formal attire from a day of meetings and business, while some leaned back on the reclining lounge chairs donning soft pyjamas from head to toe. Tony would never admit it, but he was pining for a pair of Natâs soft rabbit slipper socks...in menâs sizes.
The silence eventually morphed into a lighthearted exchange of jokes and turning the hardships into a form of humour. They figured if they didnât laugh about their experiences, they would cry. None of them were sure what was worse.

Day 28: Heir to Stark Industries
Can you guess who itâll be??
Heir to Stark Industries ~Webpril Day 28
A/N: Tony thinks long and hard about the future of Stark Industries. He didn't think the answer would be standing right in front of him. I had to write this one a bit more quickly than the last ones because life loves to get in the way. I hope you enjoy this one :) x Only two more left to go!

âCould you please pass me the spanner, Mr Stark?â
Not moments after Peter asked for it, Tony let it fall into Peterâs open hand with a thwap.
âThanks.â
âNo problem, kiddo.â
âAlmost...doneâŚ.â Peterâs words were punctuated by harsh twists of the tool in his hands, securing the last of the nuts and bolts in place.
âLetâs do a quick power test, shall we?â Tony called from over by the interface beside the project.
Peter scampered over to where Tony stood and tried to wipe the grin off of his face and keep his excitement at bay. The last eight attempts had failed to even power it on without something short-circuiting, so even if movement wasnât on the cards, something was better than nothing.
âYour call, boss.â Tony took a step back, giving Peter access to the button that would mark their ninth trial.
âHere goes nothing.â Peter tapped the button rimmed in electric blue and watched as the laboratory lights dimmed. At first, Peter had thought that it was to conserve power, but it was later revealed to be for dramatic effect - of course it was.
