Webpril 2022!

Please be sure you are tagging the blog @webpril when posting your works! Tumblr tags are funky and sometimes not everything pops up as it should so, as an extra precaution, please @ the blog so your submissions can be seen! 

The list will be updated as needed. 

As we approach April 2022, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who participated in last year's Webpril! Especially to @/stefciastark, @/sdottkrames, and @/zanderljones for completing most or all of the prompts!

First off, I'd like to welcome our new mod: @anarchyduck! They'll be helping out this year.

Secondly, we have a new rule for this year to make finding your posts easier: please mention (@) our blog when posting your submissions if you want to be included in our masterlist.

The prompts will be posted on Monday, March 28 (12 am GMT), but don't post your submissions until Webpril officially starts!

First off, I'm so glad you liked last year's Webpril! I had a whole lot of fun organizing and planning it!

I really, really want to host it this year, but I'm probably going to need another mod or two to help keep track of all the works.

I'm definitely planning on doing this again next year. I'm also planning on making a few changes (like posting the prompts earlier).

Another thing - would you guys be open to having another Webpril? (Except for another month like maybe Webgust or something.)

Also, in looking at the master list (it’s lovely, by the way!) I only saw my first chapter? I’ve done almost every day except the last couple and I’m getting those up tonight! It’s totally fine, I just thought I’d let you know 🥰

Thank you so much for saying that! I didn’t know if anyone was actually going to do the prompts, since this is my first time hosting this event.

You can totally combine prompts, though they’ll only show up in the masterlist for one day. For the other days, you would have to do some of the alternate prompts!

As for the issue, currently, I am checking the #webpril , #webpril 2021 , and #webpril 2021 day x  tags, so, I think, if the posts are tagged correctly, they should show up for me. 

Another easy way to ensure your posts end up on the masterlist is to @ me -@webpril- in each of your posts, so I get a notification each time you post a chapter!

Edit: I just checked, and I only search on tumblr for the prompts, so I think that is why your prompt fills aren’t on the masterlist. I can’t follow a tag on AO3 (I don’t think there’s a function for that), and it becomes INFINITELY harder to put everything on the masterlist, so, currently, I’m only checking tumblr.
