Dev Update Small update on Lilaโs Haunting: Echoes of the Vengeful Spirit
I wanted to be a bit more transparent about something in my workflow. Sometimes, when Iโm stuck visualizing a scene or a pose, I use AI-generated references to help me โseeโ what Iโm trying to draw. I donโt copy/paste anything, but Iโve caught myself relying on tracing in a few cases to understand the structure before adding my own details. Iโm still drawing everything myself, but Iโm aware this puts me in a bit of a gray area, and Iโm trying to improve and rely less on it over time. The main reason is honestly just this: Sometimes I canโt fully picture certain scenes in my head, even with multiple references. The AI just helps me bridge that gap so I can keep moving forward. That said, I still care a lot about making this project feel like mine, and Iโm actively working on building my skills so I donโt depend on that step as much. Iโm curious how other artists feel about this kind of process, especially in indie comics/manga. No pressure or judgment โ just genuinely looking for thoughts while I keep working on it. Slowly.
