💧Rain - What's the most emotional scene you've ever written?

I answered this one HERE but let’s also do a runner up. I want to say When The World Is Free is quite emotional throughout. Especially the first time they have sex and the day it all comes to a head (phone call to her parents, Eloise finds out, Benedict asks his question lol)

🌊 Tsunami - When and where do you like to write?

Haha when the muse allows/demands is the simple answer. My best smut tends to pour out of me in the middle of the night. Sometimes my most fluffy stuff when I first wake up tbh. I get random spurts of creativity and am lucky enough to work from home where I can pivot to my personal laptop and at least jot out some stuff before going back to my work lol.

In terms of location, it also varies. I’ve written on my phone under the covers while my husband is fast asleep next to me. I’ve written at my desk in my home office, hooked up to my dual screen dock. But mostly I write with my laptop propped on my legs and I’m on a comfy chair or bed somewhere. Often the guest bed. And of course always with a Coke Zero or a cuppa tea by my side lolol.

Ooh! Tough one.

I think, overall, it's the Embassy Attack one. (Not saying what happens because spoilers but I have a few people who know what I'm talking about.)

Ideally, though, I'd like to get one part of the Queen's Bedroom fight to be more emotional than the Embassy Attack one. But as of now, it's not there yet.

But like, for example the most emotional scenes per major WIP are:

TBW - Riot Scene

SB - Embassy Attack

CTQ - Queen's Bedroom Fight

I was gonna add Heist but I don't feel like I have a super sad emotional scene. Technically, the Festival scene has the highest-running emotions, but they're not sad, which is how I interpreted the ask.

Drizzle- Do you have a sweet tooth and if so what is your favorite dessert?

I do. I have a terrible sweet tooth. Chocolate, preferably dark. Anything with almonds is endangered by my presence, as is anything with cherries. Real cherries, mind you, not cherry-flavored stuff.

My cousin once brought an especially decadent dark chocolate bundt cake with some sort of cherry reduction chocolate drizzle on top, and let me tell you, there are no words. 🤤 So good.

Iridescence- Is there a piece of art that speaks to you? What is it?

This.

It’s ‘The Maiden and the Unicorn’ by Scott Gustafson, and I love it. I can just admire how pretty it is, or I can analyze all the little details and create a different story from it every time. I spent my summer earnings on a huge framed print of it when I was about 13; it hangs in my daughter’s room now.

I've been asked this one before and my answer was (put simply) fight scenes. However, I'll give a different answer for this one!

Oh geeze I feel like it was somewhere in the vein of 4 or 5k? I legit cannot remember. It definitely left me drained though. (It is not uncommon for me to be possessed by some writer spirit of myself and not remember details like this but suddenly I've written 80k in a month.)
