Drizzle- Do you have a sweet tooth and if so what is your favorite dessert?

I do. I have a terrible sweet tooth. Chocolate, preferably dark. Anything with almonds is endangered by my presence, as is anything with cherries. Real cherries, mind you, not cherry-flavored stuff.

My cousin once brought an especially decadent dark chocolate bundt cake with some sort of cherry reduction chocolate drizzle on top, and let me tell you, there are no words. 🤤 So good.

Iridescence- Is there a piece of art that speaks to you? What is it?

This.

It’s ‘The Maiden and the Unicorn’ by Scott Gustafson, and I love it. I can just admire how pretty it is, or I can analyze all the little details and create a different story from it every time. I spent my summer earnings on a huge framed print of it when I was about 13; it hangs in my daughter’s room now.

Lenticular- What is an unpopular opinion of yours that you refuse to budge on?

Well I can only answer for the areas I've lived in. It's alright. You get four distinct seasons, albeit with a 5-6 month long hot and humid summer, and a winter that doesn't get that cold (and doesn't stay cold for long when it does). Plus being in a valley puts a halt to a lot of the precipitation, especially winter precipitation. We get a fair amount of rain (though the thunderstorms die out sadly) and we're comically allergic to a good snowfall

I'm sure a lot of people enjoy this but it's not my cup of tea. The fall foliage is to die for, though. 

The topography really limits your view of the horizon and of the sky due to all the hills and living in a dense forest. And if you have any allergies, you will suffer greatly in the stagnant air. Breezes are uncommon and usually light. Overall air quality isn't the greatest because of it all.

3. Best game you've ever played? Metal Gear Solid 2. I'm really nostalgic about it but i've come to appreciate the message of the game even more so as I've gotten older.

4. Worst game you've ever played? World of Tanks console post 2020. It used to be fun, a gritty strategy-based WWII version of the PC game. But then a couple years ago they completely rebranded it into essentially a mobile game with dumb gimmicks and UI and awful gameplay. Hundreds of hours spent with friends grinding through all the nation's tech trees wasted; none of us can even bear to play it anymore.

8. Best soundtrack? I went into detail in the last answer but Hunt: Showdown.

22. If you could immerse yourself in any game for one day, which game would it be? What would you do? Sea of Thieves. It would be fun to sail around on old style pirate ships and visit a few cool tropical islands. It would get old quickly, though. Maybe The Golf Club 2019 because it would be nice to visit all of the great courses across the world and take in the scenery and environments while playing some golf.

23. Biggest disappointment you've had in gaming? Every Madden game post Madden 13, yet here I am buying them every year lol. Maybe Metal Gear Solid 5 :/

24. Casual, Hardcore, or in the middle? Used to be hardcore, I can really only get into competitive multiplayer games and when I play i have to win lol. Though with my gaming crew going separate ways and having a lot less free time in my life, I'm transitioning more to a casual gamer in the sense that I'll play less often but still retaining my competitiveness as best i can. And also looking more into single player games that suit my interests. 

A much better sandwich than the subway sandwich i had earlier lol
