WARNING SPOILERS FOR GODZILLA VS KONG SCROLL PAST IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS

So I watched it with some family and I just need to say that Godzilla won and it was not a tie.

For the sake of my sanity I need to rant cause my family has decided to interrupt me every time I try to explain why Godzilla won and it’s driving me crazy!

Round 1

Godzilla beat Kong and the only reason why Kong didn’t die is the humans intervened to save him from drowning and then played dead. Kong was knocked out and Godzilla only left because he thought Kong was dead.

Round 2

Kong won by using this macguffin axe that blocked the beams and both sides were disoriented as a result

Round 3

Godzilla wins and has Kong pinned under his foot and Kong’s heart is close to stopping only reason why Kong was revived was due to human intervention again. He would have died otherwise

My family keeps saying that round 3 ended when they were interrupted by the robot, but no that was round 4 and they teamed up to take the robot down.

So it’s hard to see how this show will continue/go/end, because so many things are different from the comics vs the show. Lakeside doesn’t exist, Dwight leads the Saviors, Carol died back in the prison era, Andrea is still alive and so is Carl, ect ect.

There is still a story the show has, the Whisperers. Now it’s a great story but it has a lot to do with Rick and his last episode is next week. Robert Kirkman always wanted the show to end right along side the comics so I feel like the show won’t continue much longer. It’s time (not saying I don’t love the show. You just don’t want to drag a masterpiece on and on.)

Now, previews for next week made me sad. The fam has grown so much and they’ve seen so much. We lost a lot of good characters along the way but gained so many great ones. It’ll be like taking a walk down memory lane for us next week.

A couple years back there was this theory that at the end of the show, Rick wakes up from a coma and it was all a dream. Next weeks previews certainly make it seem like that, doesn’t it? Total mind trip that would be. This was all fake the entire time. I can’t wrap my brain around that theory but they would’ve made a big deal if it was the series finale but imagine? Could you IMAGINE?!
