        ❛ 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒, 𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑, ❜       thor said as he spread open a shirt by the shoulders. it was definitely one of banner’s plain shirts defaced by what looked like a red sharpie. it looked like thor had even expressed his more creative and artistic side by sketching an illustration of mjolnir and stormbreaker holding hands under the bold-faced TEAM THOR on the front. it looked like an overenthusiastic child had drawn it, honestly, but the god had spent at least five hours drawing this. it was the only reason why he hadn’t bothered bruce in his lab all day. he’d obviously been up to more important things. ❛ 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐃𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐄𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐎 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐈𝐓? ❜ he boasted, tossing it to banner.

Hair flurries like a storm, lifting and billowing as the Hulking mass comes to shadow her little section of Heaven. Ready to attack! Ready to protect! But she calms the tendril-like locks to a purr, reminds them not to fear him, them. These were friends.

“Are these for me?” The bush is presented with a puff of dirt at her feet, and offering as lovely as the child-like awe he offers her. There was no brighter smile in all of the world! 

“Thank yooouu!” Her voice as sweet as a spring wind. “You shouldn’t have, it’s is very thoughtful of you to think of me though.”

He really shouldn’t have. She would have to work quick to replant the bush and even still the likelihood of it surviving was slim.  Roots were finicky enough to work with without the added trauma. Like people, most of the damage was hidden deep within.
