𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋 ᵀᴴᴱ 𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 ⚡

     as thor spoke, the super soldier moved to curl in closer to him, head tucked in under his chin. his safe space, a place that the world couldn’t  ( and wouldn’t )  take him away from. arms around his middle and hands interlocking behind his back, he took a slow breath, taking in the scent of his lover. tony was always a sensitive subject for steve; they’d been best friends, fought next to each other, nearly died for each other only to have them fighting to the death near the end. he’d almost killed tony and left him alone in the siberian wilderness. though he could never bring himself to blame stark. steve understood why he hated him, why he hated bucky. it hurt, but he understood. 

     “i’d be lying if i said i didn’t miss him.” and he did. but it wasn’t steve’s feelings that mattered here; tony was the one who’d been blindsided. his heart ached that things ended the way they did. “i’m pretty sure he hates me.” saying it out loud hurt even more, eyes closing and face pressing into the indent between his collarbones. a slow breath is taken, expanding his chest and trying to calm his pounding heart. “ … how’s he doing?”

      ❛    𝐍𝐎, 𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔,    ❜      he scoffed, pressing a soft kiss into steve’s hair. his nose scrunched a bit as the other male curled into him and the blond strands tickled under his nostrils like cattails. ❛    he just ... strongly dislikes you.   ❜   honestly, he didn’t know too much about the situation since he hadn’t been invited to the scuffle, and thankfully too, as he probably wouldn’t have picked a side. both steve and tony were still dear friends to him and neither would have benefited from a god trying to play the pacifist role. maybe he could have stopped it. maybe.

     HIS MEANS OF INTIMIDATION WORK much better than her’s, dark brows rising upward as a tint of pink flushes porcelain features in embarrassment. she hadn’t meant to appear upset with him; if anything, she rather admired him nearly as much as she admired the shimmer of stars in the dark canvas of a night sky. shake of head brings brunette tresses to shift upon her shoulders, cerulean hues revealing further embarrassment with an arising hint of being apologetic. ‘ oh, no im not upset with you at all! i was just - you’re taller than i remember, even if i’m a lot taller than i was before. ‘

     She’s never quite seen the god from this height before, let alone in such arising proximity. A few times in this youth before her descent to midgard those centuries ago, and very few times after New York, but like this ? Where she could finally stand before him and speak as he does with so many others is both exciting and rather nerve wracking at the same time. 

     Though she attempts to appear taller and more intimidating than she barely was, minuscule form standing taller despite still having to tilt head back to gaze properly at his features, arms coming to a tense fold as though attempting the appearance of definition to arms. Tess might believe herself to appear intimidating now, but rather looks more akin to a youthful child trying to appear adult when a parent argues of their immaturity.
