You often ask me how Gazans have money, and I answer that, among other income sources, international aid agencies deposit money into their bank accounts. 

@Mr_Andrew_Fox wrote in a paper on this subject in December 2025: "In one cycle, the UN and NGOs brought in food and medicine (which Hamas diverted), then gave Gazans cash to buy back those same supplies now under Hamas's control. Effectively, aid groups were bankrolling Hamas twice first by delivering free goods to their warehouses, then by paying people to patronise Hamas-managed markets. This is a feedback loop that directly funds Hamas's war machine. Gaza has seen the creation of a terrorist economy using CVA (Cash and Voucher Assistance)."
