I’ll be regularly posting short bits of my writing. They are the backbone of my world and the message I want to spread through Vulpes & Vulpes.
On Friday I start prac, and I'm nervous because it's going to be full on and I always feel awkward somewhere new and with people I don't know, but I'm also excited, I mean I know how a centre works I've been around them for at least fifteen years but it's a new experience somewhere different, and I'm experiencing it from a trainee perspective instead of being the daughter of the teacher. It'll be good, hard work, stressful, but good. Friday is also the day I start my countdown. From Friday it'll be fifteen days until I finish my course, and fifteen days until I get on the road again. I have such an itch to move right now, which while not unusual, came a lot sooner then I expected. I get this urge in me that I need to pack my things and get the hell out of dodge. Just get on the road and move, drive anywhere, drive everywhere! Usually it's every couple of months and most of the time I can stamp it down and distract myself from it, but we've had to be on the road so much lately that the itch is just, almost constant. I love long road trips, I love the feel of the open highway. When I'm not on it, I miss it. It doesn't even matter where I'm going just the feel of being on the highway, nothing compares. Anyway, fifteen days from Friday until we go to Melbourne, I'm not to thrilled about the reason were going but, hey, I'll take any excuse to be on the road.
