Greetings Friends I was walking the streets again last weekend in Conondale by Kenilworth This walk is part of the Conondale Great Walk and follows Booloomba Creek. You walk through subtropical rainforest and wet sclerophyll forest. There is abundant birdlife along the path as well as goannas and skinks. The cascades is a great place to have a swim after the long walk to get there. Also known as the "Monkey Temple" among visitors from abroad, Swayambhunath sits atop its hill, overlooking most parts of the valley. This is a good place to catch panoramic views of the city. The site itself has stood as a hallmark of faith and harmony for centuries.
