“Hold my hand...” Tanjirou grabbed your nervous hand and firmly held it. You heard his laughter chimed like a magic weapon disarming you from your anxiety. This was your first date together and you were acting so silly it’s embarrassing.
“Look, Y/N! The flowers here glow under the stars, aren’t they wonderful?” He was wearing that gentle smile that never failed to make you all gooey on the inside. Why did he always have to look so soft...like someone you’d like to hug and waste all of your time with.
You didn’t know it but his heart jumped when you blush while staring blankly at him. He sure saw more than just the flowers and stars in your eyes.
Inching near you, he tucked few strands of you hair behind your ear--cliche yet impactful when all you could hear was your heart beating. Until, he got you in the corner and asked you of that one moment that only poetry can describe like when every part of you that came like a dead star came alive again. In other words... “Baby, kiss me.”
