i know in the podcast it's kind of just glossed over as a Guys It's Okay :) They Talked! thing but i really can't imagine a world where hera isn't at least a little bitter about pryce post-canon, even if she doesn't express it. especially when you consider that Forgetting is Literally a major theme of hera's character. specifically in the context of pryce and how she made hera suffer. hera forgot (aka pryce made her forget) the reason she was hurting, but not the hurt itself. and now pryce gets to forget the hurt she inflicted, and everything else. and hera just has to live with that. the person who hurt her, who hurt her friends, who hurt eiffel specifically... she just gets to see them go on with life, like she had to with hilbert after he tore her apart and modified her programming and tried to kill eiffel by putting some evil shit in his body and attempted to send minkowski out into space to die. just like pryce did. and yeah it's different because pryce can't/won't do any of it again but it's quite literally an axe forgets/tree remembers scenario. pryce gets to forget. and hera has to remember and be around people who hurt her and just grin and bear it. like she always does

This is a little specific but if Kepler was a goalkeeper he’d be like Oliver Kahn, Jacobi would be a defender (Ramos style, so maybe more center-back than full-back), and Maxwell would sooner die than set foot on a field.
As for the heph crew, Minkowski’s in the center midfield, Lovelace is a striker (left-footed too), and Eiffel and Hilbert would Also hate playing. Hera would be the best center-forward in history.

For Kepler, I thought about making him a striker (he’d love the spotlight, honestly), but I think goalkeeper fits him better. Especially on a team where he really gets the chance to shine. It fits him to be in a position where he’s the last line of defense, having most of the pressure to do well. He’s the one shouting orders (very familiar!), guiding and organizing the defense (JACOBI!!!), and basically leading the team since he’s got the full vision the rest of the team doesn’t have. He can see everything, even that which his teammates might miss, and knows their strengths and weaknesses while instructing them and telling them what to watch out for. Do you see where I’m going with this?
Also! I say goalkeeper over striker because it has its downsides too. I think it fits him, especially considering what happened to him in the finale, to be the one who rarely gets recognition even when he ends up saving the day. A great performance can be applauded, and will be respected, but it’s also expected. And it won’t be remembered nearly as much or as long as a bad performance. A striker’s mistakes can be easily forgiven, but it’s extremely harder for a goalkeeper. I think that’s the sort of pressure that would fuel Kepler (aka his crippling fear of failure). I like the idea of him being sort of the silent hero.
NOW JACOBI! He’d be explosive as a defender. His aggressiveness would be the thing making him so unique on the field. I made him a defender because it really fits the loyalty and intensity of his character (it IS that deep to me) and he can focus all that energy into shielding something he cares about. He would go all out. ALL OUT. Ik he has the meanest tackle. So many red cards for this man. Like Valverde getting a red in the 2020 Spanish Super Cup final for his foul against Morata to stop him from scoring.
Also goes without saying that the defenders have to trust the keeper with their LIVES. So this is very fitting for them imo. Though I do like to think that a few bad calls from Kepler on important matches leaves him doubtful and leads him to ignore directions, which would create holes in the defense, but that’s a whole other can of worms.
And I forgot to add that Kepler would be SO ANNOYING and SO PICKY about gloves. And when I say he’s like Oliver Kahn I am begging y’all to google him losing his temper on the other team’s players
The equivalent of Jacobi trying to cook for Kepler is when little kids make breakfast in bed for Mother’s Day. It’s the most inedible combo yet she has to pretend she likes it
