VX-4's second black Vandy-1 F-14A Tomcat (top) bureau number 161444 was painted in a water-based paint for static display during the 1987 NAS Point Mugu Air Show. VX-4's other Vandy-1 (bottom) a F-4S Phantom II bureau number 158358 flies escort during an October 1987 mission.

Vandy-76 a VX-4 F-4N Phantom II parked on the ramp at then NAS Miramar, during a rain storm in May 1978.
VX-4 was home based at then NAS Point Mugu.
Vandy-76 was painted for the Bicentennial celebration held during 1976 as America celebrated 200 years.
