Col. (Ret.) Charles B. DeBellevue was a Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) flying F-4 Phantoms during the Vietnam War . Debellevue, scored four kills flying with Capt. Steve Ritchie and two more flying with Capt. John A. Madden Jr. on Sept 9, 1972, making him an ace. #aviation

Oops! An F-4 Phantom from VF-151 "Vigilantes", falling into the sea after its nose wheel collapsed during launch from the USS Coral Sea (CV-43) (Circa 1970). Luckily, the pilots bailed out okay!
