medical kink not in the sense i need to be in a hospital or hooked up to electrodes but medical in the sense that im bedridden recovering from a grave injury in a big victorian room reading all day and at night my sweet caretaker feels me up after giving me my nightly sleep medicine (chloroform)

Listening to the Dragonslayer by Tui T. Sutherland and I just realized something. Wren said Kestrel was searching the river when she had found Sky. Of course, Wren thought the dragon was making sure Sky was dead, but knowing what happened, Kestrel was looking for Sky. Kestrel died thinking she killed her only dragonet. She died thinking she failed both her dragonets.
