I think we as a fandom completely brushed over the fact that Peril was forced to eat rocks? For like her whole childhood? What are the impacts of that? Does she still do it out of habit? I'm thinking that the 'black rocks' were probably coal, is that necessary for a firescales? Or does it just make her fire hotter? Now that she's stopped eating it (I assume) are there any positive or negative side effects? Does she have carbon poisoning from eating coal? Is she malnourished? Did she only eat coal? There are so many possibilities!
