How would you describe your character’s mindset? Their personality, their attitude, their mentality and self-philosophy…

Addison is fully of lesbian rage, feminism and angst. She tries to leave every place better than she's found it, but she's also scrappy and will fight over the smallest things. She feels things theatrically, has the stage deep in her veins, determination under her skin. She's truly trying her best, trying to better herself, trying to be what people need her to be, but she's also incredibly impulsive and at times would rather lock herself up to soak in her own self pity. She has a lot of working on herself to do, but I promise she's growing into a fine young vampire <3

What is the best thing about your character? Be it their talent, skill, or a trait.

Addison is fiercely loyal, and feels it's her duty to protect and help those she deems in need of her assistance. She recognises herself in others a lot, then tries to be the person she wishes she had. Be it an older sister, best friend, or just a tutor of sorts... If you're in her good books, she will go to battle for you, no questions asked.

What is their worst quality? Do they realize it?

There is definitely a discrepancy between what Addison thinks is her worst quality, and what it actually is. She'd probably give you an answer about anger management. But truly? Her worst quality is her passive suicidality, her lack of respect for her own existence combined with her terrible habit of wanting to please the people around her.

Everyone is created by something whether they like it or not… What was the moment in their lives that pushed them into who they are? Was it bloody? Was it peaceful?

Addison's life stopped and her requiem started on a cold evening in late February, 2025. In the midst of the chaos after the final death of the late Prince Immanuel, who 'fell' off One World Trade Center on New Year's Eve. With the Prince's death a wave of new embraces flooded the city, and Addison is part of that trend. She was at the Majestic in Manhattan, getting ready to make her way back to Brooklyn, and instead encountered the Nosferatu who would ruin everything. It was sudden, painful, traumatic to anyone not already thoroughly broken. And fuck --, Addison hated him for it. Begged for him to kill her for weeks after the fact. She basically got jumped in one of the few places she truly felt safe, and it was taken away from her. She doesn't like thinking about it much.

People have goals and desires, what are theirs and will they achieve it?

The goals she had in life are probably unattainable for her anymore. At least with the knowledge she has now. She was going to step into the footsteps of Barbra Streisand, Liza Minelli, Idina Menzel... Tony winner, EGOT after that. But honestly? Who knows what vampiric magic she might come across in the future. Currently, she's just focused on getting her confidence back. She wants to be in charge of her own existence for a change, get a chance to fuck up. Hell, she wants to not be terrified and get a chance to figure out her new goals in death. But she and her coterie have their freedom and their domain now, so she's the closest to this she'll ever be.

When it comes to people, was there anyone they idolized or someone that was/is important to them? Why are they important?

There's a few musical theatre legends she idolises, but the main person who is important to her is Hailey, her ex-girlfriend. Hailey is her best friend, the person she wants to run to with any news ever. One of the first meaningful connections she made after she moved to Brooklyn. Hailey's her person, in every possible way. Even now, Hailey is the one who knows... maybe too much. After her embrace, Hailey was the one Addison ran to and as one of very few people not massively uncomfortable when Addison opens her mouth, Addie still seeks her approval, friendship, love. She's recently learned that one of the other Reeves still keeps a human family, and she'd be lying if she's not curious to meet that Reeve to ask her how she does it. Hailey truly is everything to Addison. Don't worry about those implications.

Fear is only human nature, are they scared of anything? Is this fear rooted in any experience or memory in particular?

Daeva. Just the entire fucking clan. There's something about their Majesty that makes her severely uncomfortable, a remnant of her time as a blood doll to the Baron of Queens. She's uneasy around the Baron of Brooklyn, constantly worries Maeve may secretly be trying to influence her (even if she says she isn't). Hell, when others are under Majesty's influence it makes Addison uncomfortable. By proxy, the idea of having to meet back up with the Baron of Queens is so anxiety-inducing that she magicked her out of the party Maeve had invited the Baron to, nearly killing her entire friend group in the process.

Break down how they look. Why do they wear what they wear? Any scars, tattoos, or piercings on them?

Addie's wardrobe is filled mostly with futch streetwear. Fashionable, but just not completely up to date with the most recent styles. She thrifted most of it because she didn't have much money to live off when she was putting it together, probably had most items fixed by costume departments over the last while. The expensive pieces she owns have been gifted to her and she feels a bit uncomfortable wearing them because to her it feels like she owes the people who gifted them to her. She dresses mostly for comfort these days. She has two small tattoos, but those hardly ever see the light of day, hidden on parts of her body where they won't impose on roles she'll never play again. A few ear piercings, but nothing 'outrageous'. The scars she carries are mostly internal. The most striking visual thing about her is her eyes, since the colour was drained from them in her embrace. It's also why she tends to avoid mirrors.

Everyone is perceived in one way or another. How is your character perceived by others?

She tries her very best to not be perceived. She had some level of fame before her embrace and the idea of being recognised makes her massively uncomfortable, so she turns her predator's aura into herself like a shield to be... as close to unseen as possible. Just another face in the crowd. To other kindred, it really depends on their disposition. She'll probably come across as decently shy, almost, because her changed voice keeps her from reaching out first. When she's on a stage, any stage, her lost spark returns. When she recognises something as unjust or gets comfortable, she'll get rash, abrasive in a self-deprecating way. Also the Baron probably sees her as an ungrateful traitor currently, but that's a problem for a different day.

What is the most painful thing they’ve experienced? Physical, or emotional. Everyone has wounds.
