I love how varied and universally weird the circumstances for making lifelong friendships are. Here's this guy I accidentally messaged once and I could not imagine my life without them now. Here's this girl I was so scared of when I met her, I would kill for her and remind her to rest on the regular. Here's this other guy we have so much in common we used to joke we were the same person in different timelines. It took us years to meet in person and I attended his wedding. There are also people who entered my life in absolutely unremarkable ways but changed it forever for the better. It's wonderful how easy it is to find people to love.

If Conrad Veidt had played Dracula, I wouldn't want him to be another Bela Lugosi. I imagine a completely different interpretation.

My Dracula is not a triumphant predator, but a lonely prisoner condemned to eternal hunger and endless cold. He is always freezing, yet neither fire nor blankets can warm him. The only warmth he can truly feel is the body heat of the living.

To him, fresh blood is not merely food. It is like a bowl of hot soup offered to someone lost in a blizzard. Every sip brings warmth back to a body trapped in an endless winter, if only for a little while.

it’s been uhhhhhh a while since the last time i watched phantom 1990 and tonight is the niiiiiiiiight. i have watched. so many things with charles dance in the years since but this was truly the first thing i ever saw him in.

have never seen him in a funnier role since which means i’m either watching the wrong charles dance flicks or he is criminally underutilized. forgot that his first scene is just him going ah beans yeah i had to kill that guy lol. just such a character immediately. no suspense no mystery just here’s your quirky lil guy

Terrible AU concept for Aurik where he somehow manages to become prince of London through some kind of hilarious and farcical accident and now all London's vampires wanting audience are met with a huge ancient Gangrel telling them they can't see the prince tonight because he's watching the NatGeo channel and cuddling a teddy bear so he doesn't melt down
