But, uhh just a reminder (or not) that this comic will deal with religious themes, specifically Christian/God related ones. If you have a problem with this, then now isn’t the time to complain about it, now is the time to stop reading. Okay? Okay.

Also another thing about this AU: it’s basically a swap AU at its core, ex: Alphys and Undyne are Queen and King, while Toriel and Asgore are chefs and restaurateurs. There’s also some other things to make it a bit different from a regular swap AU, but that about it.

Also to make my definition of Swap AU clearer: This isn’t based off of Underswap/Swaptale. It’s characters are based off of the canon Undertale traits. This is partially why it’s taking so long for me to get this AU up off the ground, I want to stay true to their character while also making it so it isn’t too boring for you guys.

Day 8: Favorite AU

Omg I love like all of the AU how dare you ask me to choose????

But anyways if I have to choose I’d choose my brainchild, Variabletale (Vtale for short)

Basically it’s a swapped au with no boss monsters.

Undyne and Alphys are ‘King’ and ‘Queen’ respectively, and MK takes the Prince role, with Chara still appearing as Chara. I don’t want to reveal too much for plot reasons, but I’m trying to make this a realistic story? Like ‘this’ happened, so ‘this’ happens because of it.

I dunno if I’ll succeed yet but I’m going to try!

Also there aren’t going to be any new characters (I think?) except for 2 monsters for plot purposes, Arial and Curly who are dead skellies :(.

Hell to V

Okay so this is Gaster and who I’m tentatively calling Arial (or Verdana. I can’t decide yet).

Arial is Gaster’s wife, and san’s, papyrus’ and curltz mom.

Vtale is an au where Undyne and Alphys rule the underground as the king and queen.

Chara is the first human, and Monster kid is Alphy’s little brother and the underground’s prince.

There are no boss monsters left. This also means if you see some certain ‘boss monsters’, (like Toriel) they’re actually just regular monsters. Aka goat monsters are not actual boss monsters.

You’ll see what my interpretation of them was.

Urggg there’s so many things I want to add but it ruin the plot :(

Chara killed Monster Kid, and then Undyne killed Chara

I have no idea what MK’s gender is. I mean I thought they were a boy but they’re acually a girl in deltarune? :I

I don’t know what Chara’s gender is either.

It doesn’t matter anyways. They’re dead.

Hmmm.

Dogressa and Dogamy are happy monsters.

Jerry is Jerry and I don’t know how to make him better. Halp.

Frisk is still the last human needed because Undyne didn’t secure Chara’s soul in time (it was a surprise kill. For both of them.)
