okok so this is my oc (@untitled-25-mp3 and @yashtheartistic as well as members of the vehicon community that i'm in you'll know a bit about them) this is voyager (they/them/theirs or he/him/his but know that they may question you if you use the second set, not in a bad way but in a confused way)

it's easier to draw their human form so here we are, this is vicente garcia-rhodes (she/her/hers), this is voyager's holo-human disguise!

there is a lot more lore to this that i haven't disclosed and the story gets really crazy but apart from that, assume one thing abt them!! (ps: vicente is kind of like voyager's persona :3 )

I don't judge him for his decision. it was right for him, and I am glad he had the self-respect required to make it. OCD about my wellbeing was hurting him badly, and my bipolar was intensifying, unmedicated. and who am I to judge this kind of behavior, anyways, when I have done far worse? it just hurts to have devoted your life to someone, offered your traumatized body as tribute, loved him with all your soul - so intensely that, even now, picturing any other future feels like assessing the plot of a movie, after the credits of which your ordinary life with him will resume - given him everything, and been alone as soon as the going got rough. and by rough, I mean... I was recovering from rape.

my recollection-daydream eventually turned the situation around - now in my mind I was resting my head on his chest, feeling his strong, gentle hands in my hair, with comforting repetitive movements, and coos about how he'll love me forever. surely, this makes more sense given the circumstances. that's what I needed. but instead, I had a long weekend of biting my tongue to keep him from feeling the full weight of guilt, saying that it's ok, holding back tears as much as possible, and failing very frequently.

he and I spent time out together, two homeschooled kids in a public park, escaping, for a moment, the dreary tumult of their abusive homes. we had been friends for years already, and lovers for half a year, keeping each other from spiralling into complete isolation and depression. i worried about him and he worried about me, and for years, this was the way of things.

i am wearing the shirt now, having grown into it perfectly. it's loose and soft from years of use in a way that makes it comfortable to wear in sleep.

over that time, we slowly learned together to extricate ourselves from the forces which abused us: the family, the church, the state, patriarchy, and gender. I realized I was a woman, he realized he was a man. in a process of collaborative growth, we shaped each other to an extent only made possible by our circumstances as eachothers' primary contact with the outside world, such that my identity feels eternally bound up in him, inseparable from him. he taught me how to be human.

this shirt is a bit worn out though. years and successive washes have dotted the graphic with cracks and tiny flakes through which the calm navy-blue of the fabric beneath can be seen, and a couple small round holes have formed on the right side, though the colors are just as bright.

when the pain was too much, he comforted me. when I needed a burner phone for emergency calls, in case my parents ever broke another of my bones, he helped me get one. when I ran away from home at 16, his house was where I walked. 9 hours, starting in the dead of night, limping into morning, and I thought of nothing but him. all that, just to be sent back. and when I finally did move out at 18, I followed him across the state. I have now been free for almost 4 years, and, though I miss him a lot, it is easily one of the healthiest, happiest points in my life thus far.

it's time for the art revealll :3 first off, very veryy sorry I took sooo long :( I was gonna draw over the weekend but I have online summer classes every dayyy and they're so tiringggg 💔💔 my physics class got cancelled today so I took some time to sketch out your oc :D
