Eye Injured From Toxic Thorns

I was walking outside and I saw a colleague at work kind of taking it easy on a step. I went over to her and I could see she was squinting in one eye and there was some kind of medicine in her eye. She told me she was cutting down some bougainvillea bush over the weekend and some thorns cut her eye. The thorns of the bougainvillea plant are coated with something which can cause contact dermatitis. She had to go to urgent care for the incident. She said she just wanted to itch it from toxin but it was painful as well. She was told by the doctor to not blink or touch it. Her vision was blurry and messed up because of the injury as well. I could see that the injury was causing her pain and very limited functionality.

I asked her if I could pray. She said that was fine. I said I’m just going to do what Jesus did in the Bible. I commanded the pain in Jesus name to leave her eye. I commanded the eye in Jesus name to operate normally and be whole. I asked her to test out the eye. She looked a little surprised and said that the pain was gone. Then she checked it again and said that was amazing. I looked at her eye closely as she had it opened up more now and all the redness was getting better and better. Within a minute or so the redness was gone. At that point we just thanked Jesus for His love and goodness. She went on to tell me some other testimonies of what Jesus had done in her family recently. Isn’t it great when a healing takes places and Jesus just keeps getting more glory and more glory. A testimony of God’s goodness makes you want to share more of His goodness. You just can’t keep it to yourself.

If I say, “I will not mention him, or speak any more in his name,” there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with holding it in, and I cannot.

I can’t stop sharing about the goodness of Jesus and what I have started to see just in the short time I started to believe while acting on that belief. I know this is just the tip of the iceberg, as I pursue His kingdom more everyday.
