Practicing some challenging shifting passages by omitting the notes before each shift. This keeps my hand relaxed and trains the shifts to be rhythmically accurate. The key is when omitting the notes, play the passage as if it had been composed with rests. Then adding the omitted notes is easy and my hand is relaxed and stable for the octaves at the top of each of these runs.
