But the moment Rocky touches down his behaviors are erratic and nervous and he is consumed by his concern for Grace and ordering and instructing other Eridians on saftey protocals and medical needs of this alien he picked up. Adrian wants Rocky to notice them but he's completely fixated and terrified. Then Adrian sees the Eridians carefully move his xenonite shell with Grace in a stretcher behind it. Adrian does not have a frame of reference for what a human is supposed to look like but if there's anything an Eridian knows on a primal level is when an animal is sick. Eridians evolved a close system eons ago to survive deadly pathogens. It's an instinctual pull as old as time.

Any grudge goes immediately out the window because Adrian understands the severity of the situation so they put their feelings aside and begin research immediately on everything there is to know about keeping humans alive. They learn that he has been losing blood from scurvy and iron deficiency, Grace is this fragile soft thing like prey that has had it's shell or carapace torn off for consumption. Adrian learns about Grace's muscle structure and how it's crucial for locomotion and vital behaviors and learns what starvation looks like on a man. Adrian learns about his open wounds which used to be long-healed scars and writes notes when he explains through his foggy state that the Eridian doctors need to turn him over more often when he develops bed sores.

Adrian's concern quickly turns to nuturing as it becomes clear that although Grace is an adult by his species standards, he still has the same lack of wisdom and nievety that would be akin to an Eridian child. He needs constant changing enrichment and socializing. He's a needy complicated creature who shows boredom with his diet and requires water he doesn't intend to drink in his biodome simply because it brings him positive stimulation. He misses very specific wavelengths of light emissions because his medical bay is a "depressing gray everywhere."

Often when Adrian asks him questions about his needs to help his condition Grace will crack a weak joke. Adrian begins to learn his vocal tone for when he's being genuine or not. Grace is afraid.

Rocky's restlessness doesn't stop until Grace begins to stand on his own and return to a more acceptable weight. Rocky never notices that he needed to be focused more on Adrian because Adrian had stepped up to the plate to become more involved in understanding Grace and through their diligent work, Rocky could lean on them enough to relax a bit. Rocky is very thankful for it and reminds Adrian often that he's lucky to have them.

During this time Grace has gotten the impression that Adrian is much more serious than Rocky, quieter too. He gets the sense that they don't like him much, but they have been gentle and kind nonetheless.

When Grace is finally capable of living in his shack both Rocky and Adrian help him get home. Adrian watches carefully as Grace leans on their ball Rocky is still in his ball at this time so he gently bumps into Grace's hip and offers him an air hug. He asks Grace a million times if he's comfortable in his new house.

Justin, now grey and pensive, the eldest, draws a slip of paper from an ornate gold urn, and approaches a lone standup microphone

"Pixie stix" he bellows solemnly. the crowd hisses and boos, throwing coins and knives onto the stage.

Travis, hair now a faded lavender and supported by a walking stick, approaches the urn, then the microphone.

"Stevie Nicks" he murmurs. The crowd seems confused, not angry but dissatisfied. The boos quiet, then are taken up with a vengeance.

Griffin, adorned with the ceremonial bonnet as the babiest brother, is the last to approach the microphone.

It gets thrown around as a general term for trans women who participate in transandrophobia, and I don't think we should have a special label for that.

That's just lateral aggression!

Trans women who engage in transandrophobia didn't originally get it from some niche tumblr ideology.

They get it from the same place that a trans man or nonbinary person can pick up transmisogynystic views.

Trans people are born and raised in transphobic societies!
