I need your help!

Bit of backstory: 

So I was gardening when I came across a bunch of fat, juicy grubs. After doing my share of research (worst. google-search. ever.), I noted that they were japanese beetle babes. Didn’t want that kind of blood on my hands, but also didn’t want them in my garden, so I put them in a pile in my driveway for the birds to eat. In the process, I made a bird friend! Kinda awesome, kinda scary in the sense that now whenever I’m outside a few of the local robins really like to make themselves known to me. One pretty lady in particular always comes respectably close and hangs out around me....

The other day while I was in my garden, I hear this rustling. Looking up, I see my lady friend with what looked like a frog in her mouth but like way up in the air. Did not know robins ate frogs. She drops the animal. She makes eye contact with me. She moves her head and chirps at me. I go about my business. Later, when I get up and move in to see what the hell just happened, I discover that it was not a frog. It was a DEAD BABY BIRD. And not just a little pink pip-squeak. NO. It was the size of an adult frog, with feathers and a beak. Was this an attempt by a desperate mother to save her baby bird? Was this an emotional cry for help? Was this like a cat thing where they bring you dead stuff? Was this a warning (...you’re next)? Behaviorists on birds please weigh in.

Also, I’ve noticed that she always seems to have something in her mouth. Today I looked really really hard at her, and I’m really concerned that they may actually be parasites. Who do I call to help her? How can I help her myself? I’m not really seeing much online about this. Are there vets that specifically help wild birds? Would they even care about a random wild robin? I know that they are really common and maybe I’m attaching way more to her than is really happening, but she’s kinda like my buddy and I want to make sure she is ok. 

So please, if you know anything about robins or birds that might be useful pass on the info! Also, what are some things that you do for your local birds that they really like? I want to take care of my little corner as best I can.

ooh that brings up the question of what kind of occupations Levi, erwin and mike have. do they have any hidden intentions of returning you back for some money?? or do they need you for something else? or are they just some kind strangers just nurturing you back to health??

in the royal au setting maybe your knights were ambushed and taken in by zeke. they escaped, but not without lasting effects. zeke did something to them. maybe he got his hands on curses which tortured them. and as their queen, it hurt you so bad to see them in pain. thy still try to serve you, but you couldn't bear for them to live their lives like that. and as much as it killed you, you laid them to rest.

and so in another life when you woke up in that mansion and saw your once former knights, you were happy. they were alive, but they couldn't say the same. they remember their past life, where they gave everything to you, but you killed them. they loved you. and they couldn't understand why you killed them.

but when you confess why, it was emotional. you start crying and the three of them just embraces you, guilty that they even though bad things about you. you had no choice, you did it for them.
