Jason lives in an expensive home in the gated Lucina Borough community. Sometimes he forgets his house is flashy and big, and if he could he’d have picked something a bit smaller to suit his more subtle and less openly flashy tastes. However, he couldn’t be arsed to find a nice apartment elsewhere since his parents helped select the house for him under the guise he wouldn’t want noisy neighbors disrupting his work flow ( very true fact ), so he lives with the house as is ( and is since quite thankful for its size now that he’s got a daughter to look after ).
Sometimes he gets questions as to how he could afford such a large house on “a professor’s salary,” but he merely brushes the condescending comments off, explaining that back home, his family is fairly wealthy but such is a fact he doesn’t enjoy bragging about often. Not that wealth or being wealthy ( or even the opposite ) is bad, he doesn’t judge such people for wanting to flaunt what they have or desire more; he merely doesn’t enjoy doing so himself and hopes people will not mind this fact about his personality.
The color scheme for his house remains in hues of brown, growing a little dark in some parts as a result, though he feels as if it matches his physical aesthetic as he favors the color for his clothing. That, and brown also matches the multitude of varying books on his shelves, most of which he’s read. The only non-matching rooms would be his daughter’s bedroom and her toy room, two rooms converted for her from their original guest bedroom layouts. This leaves two spare guest bedrooms now instead of four, as well as his office space now part of his own room.
HOUSE SPECIFICS:
Five bedrooms ( two guest * , Charlotte’s room * , Charlotte’s playroom, and his room ).
Four bathrooms ( one guest * , one downstairs *, Charlotte’s bathroom * , and his bathroom ).
Outdoor pool. *
Living room with fireplace.
Kitchen with island bar.
Seated front area near the entrance staircase which leads upstairs if one chooses to go left instead of directly down the rest of its hallway to the living room.
Anything marked with an asterisk ( * ) is not pictured in the above photoset.
ADDITIONAL VISUAL NOTES:
The upstairs is occupied by four of the five bedrooms and three of the four bathrooms.
The downstairs is occupied by Charlotte’s playroom, the living room, and kitchen / dining area.
Predominantly hardwood throughout, with some area rugs between furniture ( exception: Charlotte’s playroom, which is almost all carpeted for her safety ).
( direction POV: sitting on the bed ) Jason’s room has one large piece of artwork on the left wall of the bed. Additionally, directly opposite his bed is a TV with a wall bookshelf on either side. To the right of his bed would be his desk space, near the windows as semi-seen in the photo. His closet is on the other side of his bathroom, which is also in his room. He sleeps with his door cracked in case Charlotte calls for him in the middle of the night.
Charlotte’s bedroom is a simple child’s bedroom, with a guarded ( like a railing thing? ) bed to prevent her from rolling off onto the floor while she sleeps. The color scheme is hues of green and yellow, with an adornment of stuffed toys everywhere and another overflowing toy box tucked in the corner. Her bathroom is also linked to her bedroom, with a doorway leading to the hallway as well. She sleeps with her door open.
Both guest bedrooms have a double bed with brown color schemes; the furniture in them is simple to avoid guests breaking or making a mess of things. The guest bathroom is near these two rooms, outside of them in the upstairs hallway.
Their pet dog ( who I need to name LOL ) sleeps in Charlotte’s room in their own bed or on Charlotte’s bed if feeling cuddly. Jason does not allow the dog into his room as he is afraid the pet will chew up his academic work / student papers. Otherwise, he loves on the animal 24/7 and doesn’t mind if they crawl all over the furniture downstairs.
Sometimes if Charlotte can’t sleep or has a nightmare, Jason lets her stay in his large king sized bed snuggled up to his side. He feels a little bad their dog can’t stay in the room as well on these nights. Those damn academic papers are just too important!!
Charlotte’s playroom is often messy as Jason doesn’t scold her to keep it tidy if she’s just going to mess it up again hours later. That, and he really doesn’t want to pick up hundreds of toys from the floor. There’s still some semblance of organization, however, thanks to the many bins she can throw her toys in. There’s also a mini sofa not pictured against the back wall.
Their kitchen is state of the art with updated appliances, but other than that fairly normal. Jason keeps some snacks within reach for Charlotte to grab when she pleases, though she also has a small step stool for the times she wants to be level with the counter while her father cooks dinner. Some corners are kiddie proofed so she won’t accidentally bump into them while running around.
Their living room is otherwise normal as well, with what one would expect to see in a living space. Television, couch, coffee table, etc. There are some expensive knick knacks decorating the space, though Jason is less concerned if those break somehow. He cares more if the photos of him and Charlotte are broken!
Home is a shelter from storms -
all sorts of storms
As of now Anna lives with Preston, but I took this task in a bit of a different direction. The one place Anna has called home for years now is her car that she’s still left the same, just in case that need to run comes rearing it’s head once more.
So here we go...
The interior roof is lined with maps, brochures, fliers and other bits and pieces she’s picked up along the way. She removed the back seats of the car to make room for a twin mattress and her cooler. Her cooler is covered with stickers that she’ll get in each state she’s stopped in. Anna has one suitcase which holds all the clothes she could fit, it’s stuffed pretty well but she still repeats many outfits as one would expect. The bed is covered with blankets including one she got when she was a child that’s grey with sheep. Glow in the dark stars are also stuck all along the inside interior due to her love of the stars and space. Besides her suitcase she has two other boxes. One is filled with photos she’s taken on her travels, her favorites are those taken of people she’s met along the road, a few also are pinned to the interior of the car. The second box and her prized possession is the box of postcards from her mom, the ones that got her started on her great road trip adventure.
For task number nine, we want you to tap into your musical side. Make a playlist about your character! The playlist can either be songs your character would listen to, or songs that inspire who your character is. It can be any number and displayed in anyway. Post it for everyone to see and listen to!
As always, please make sure to tag it with: vestatask

Ramon’s one bedroom apartment in Auburn Borough made in TS4 by moi
Starting off strong, we have his minimally decorated living room, nice and tiny. We’re going to pretend the couch is a darker shade of grey b/c you know your boy is all about that dark color scheme! Ft. Decor only bought for Autumn <3 love you hunny. P.S He does have a TV and it’s a pretty decent one but ya girl couldn’t get a decent angle.
Next up is his tiny minimalist kitchen with a tiny dining table and the main door getting in and out of his apartment. Obviously, wine for Autumn. Duh!
His teeny tiny hallway ft. the door to his teeny tiny balcony and the view from outside the bathroom door. Very pretty, Ram. Very pretty!
If you play Sims, you know that there is no way to get a good picture of any bathroom. It’s quite small but it fits everything that it needs to. Featured across from the balcony door, in case he needs to air it out! Sidenote: RIP to the floor, he doesn’t own a bathmatt and I almost forgot to give him toilet paper as well. Sorry, Ram!
Finally, we have the big, spacious bedroom at the end of the hall. The one plant that Autumn keeps alive as a symbol of their relationship. Also, of the books on his dresser, one of them is most definitely IT, just for fun of course! Yes, his lack of decor bothers me too.
Ethan’s boat is mostly held together with loose nails and duct tape (One Direction duct tape), it’s very dated but he’s been working to fix that. He has just finished his room, well mostly, he still needs to add some personal touches but he’s off the air mattress so that’s steps in the right direction. His kitchen is in complete disarray as that’s his next project. His favorite part of the boat is one that he hasn’t even worked on yet, the main deck. It’s simply with some string lights and a couple lawn chairs that look out on to the water. Ethan is still living from a mini fridge and a hot plate like he’s in college, but he always did thrive in college so he doesn’t see it as too big of a problem. More than anything Ethan is proud at the progress he’s been making and looks forward to each new step he takes at making the boat completely his...with a couple Erin touches here and there of course.
