&ย VESTA TASK : #008, THE HOME TOUR.
*ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย --ย THE LEE RESIDENCE, LUCINA BOROUGH.
Jason lives in an expensive home in the gated Lucina Borough community. Sometimes he forgets his house is flashy and big,ย and if he could heโd have picked something a bit smaller to suit his more subtle and less openly flashy tastes. However, he couldnโt be arsed to find a nice apartment elsewhere since his parents helped select the house for him under the guise he wouldnโt want noisy neighbors disrupting his work flowย ( very true factย ), so he lives with the house as is ( and is since quite thankful for its size now that heโs got a daughter to look after ).ย
Sometimes he gets questions as to how he could afford such a large house onย โa professorโs salary,โ but he merely brushes the condescending comments off, explaining that back home, his family is fairly wealthy but such is a fact he doesnโt enjoy bragging about often. Not that wealth or being wealthy ( or even the opposite ) is bad, he doesnโt judge such people for wanting to flaunt what they have or desire more; he merely doesnโt enjoy doing so himself and hopes people will not mind this fact about his personality.
The color scheme for his house remains in hues of brown, growing a little dark in some parts as a result, though he feels as if it matches his physical aesthetic as he favors the color for his clothing. That, and brown also matches the multitude of varying books on his shelves, most of which heโs read. The only non-matching rooms would be his daughterโs bedroom and her toy room, two rooms converted for her from their original guest bedroom layouts. This leaves two spare guest bedrooms now instead of four, as well as his office space now part of his own room.

ADDITIONAL VISUAL NOTES:
The upstairs is occupied by four of the five bedrooms and three of the four bathrooms.
The downstairs is occupied by Charlotteโs playroom, the living room, and kitchen / dining area.
Predominantly hardwood throughout, with some area rugs between furniture ( exception: Charlotteโs playroom, which is almost all carpeted for her safetyย ).
( direction POV: sitting on the bed ) Jasonโs room has one large piece of artwork on the left wall of the bed. Additionally, directly opposite his bed is a TV with a wall bookshelf on either side. To the right of his bed would be his desk space, near the windows as semi-seen in the photo. His closet is on the other side of his bathroom, which is also in his room. He sleeps with his door cracked in case Charlotte calls for him in the middle of the night.
Charlotteโs bedroom is a simple childโs bedroom, with a guardedย (ย like a railing thing? ) bed to prevent her from rolling off onto the floor while she sleeps. The color scheme is hues of green and yellow, with an adornment of stuffed toys everywhere and another overflowing toy box tucked in the corner. Her bathroom is also linked to her bedroom, with a doorway leading to the hallway as well. She sleeps with her door open.
Both guest bedrooms have a double bed with brown color schemes; the furniture in them is simple to avoid guests breaking or making a mess of things. The guest bathroom is near these two rooms, outside of them in the upstairs hallway.
Their pet dog ( who I need to name LOL )ย sleeps in Charlotteโs room in their own bed or on Charlotteโs bed if feeling cuddly. Jason does not allow the dog into his room as he is afraid the pet will chew up his academic work / student papers. Otherwise, he loves on the animal 24/7 and doesnโt mind if they crawl all over the furniture downstairs.
Sometimes if Charlotte canโt sleep or has a nightmare, Jason lets her stay in his large king sized bed snuggled up to his side. He feels a little bad their dog canโt stay in the room as well on these nights. Those damn academic papers are just too important!!
Charlotteโs playroom is often messy as Jason doesnโt scold her to keep it tidy if sheโs just going to mess it up again hours later. That, and he really doesnโt want to pick up hundreds of toys from the floor. Thereโs still some semblance of organization, however, thanks to the many bins she can throw her toys in. Thereโs also a mini sofa not pictured against the back wall.
Their kitchen is state of the art with updated appliances, but other than that fairly normal. Jason keeps some snacks within reach for Charlotte to grab when she pleases, though she also has a small step stool for the times she wants to be level with the counter while her father cooks dinner. Some corners are kiddie proofed so she wonโt accidentally bump into them while running around.
Their living room is otherwise normal as well, with what one would expect to see in a living space. Television, couch, coffee table, etc. There are some expensive knick knacks decorating the space, though Jason is less concerned if those break somehow. He cares more if the photos of him and Charlotte are broken!
