You’ll never guess who I just saw around QUINCY BOROUGH! They looked exactly like OLIVIA COOKE but I overheard them introduce themselves as MAISIE ST. CLAIR and say they were a 23 year old CIS FEMALE that prefers SHE/HER pronouns. I think they’re a GRAPHIC DESIGNER who has been living in the city for TWO YEARS.

Maisie is originally from a small town in suburban Massachusetts. She is the youngest in her family, having three older brothers.

She was born with a genetic disease called cystic fibrosis, and initially only expected to live to be about 5 years old, but through medical advancements and participating in sports as a child, she was actually fairly healthy throughout her childhood. Most of her friends at school didn’t even know she was sick.

She lived a very cushy, privileged life, in part due to her parents wanting to give her everything they could, as well as the fact that she grew up in a moderately wealthy household, so money was never much of a worry. Two of her older brothers were highly protective of her and would do anything for her, whereas the other one deeply resented her for constantly being the center of attention, and was quite cruel to her growing up.

Her brother’s cruelty came in part because he was deeply struggling with mental health issues and substance abuse issues. Because the focus was always on Maisie, his parents did not realize the issues he was dealing with, and instead admonished him for his behavior towards his sick sister.

Throughout high school, Maisie was quite beautiful and quite popular, as well. She did nearly every extracurricular you could think of, from soccer to basketball to art, and her personal favorite, theatre.

She had a steady boyfriend throughout high school, however, they mutually broke up before going to college.

In college, Maisie decided to double major in both theatre and graphic design. She wanted to pursue acting on Broadway, however her dreams were quickly cut short when early into college, she contracted a severe bacterial infection in her lungs and was hospitalized for over three months.

She was able to recover from the infection, however, her lung function continued to drop until it left her needing to be on oxygen 24/7. Eventually, she dropped out of college because she couldn’t handle it on top of everything.

She did not want to go back home and live with her parents, and force them to see just how sick she was; so, instead, she decided to move into her brother’s apartment in Quincy Borough. She was able to find work remotely as a freelance graphic designer, and is working to repair the relationship she has with her brother, while also trying to figure out the secrets he has been keeping from her all her life.

They looked exactly like CATERINA SCORSONE but I overheard them introduce themselves as KATRINA HUDSON and say they were a THIRTY-SIX year old CIS FEMALE that prefers SHE/HER pronouns. I think they’re a MECHANIC & AUTO REPAIR SHOP OWNER who has been living in the city for TWO MONTHS.

Katrina was the youngest of seven, with one older sister and five older brothers. They grew up with their parents in Oregon. She always felt close to them, as socially she always struggled. She had a hard time fitting in and a hard time relating to other kids. Her family was her safe place, and she relied on them heavily. They seemed to understand her as best as they could, but deep down Katrina didn’t even understand herself. When she was a kid, she frequently had meltdowns over small things like feeling the seams of her socks, or being told she had to change something. Nobody knew why she would melt down, her parents and teachers just figured it was a kid thing, that it was just a phase she would get over.

As a teenager, she was picked on a lot. She didn’t make friends easily. She always said she wasn’t good at people. Eye contact was hard, and she struggled to understand things like jokes and sarcasm. She always had very specific interests that she would obsess over. People thought she was weird. She had a three year period where she refused to speak. She communicated only through sign language, and still reverts back to it sometimes when she feels like she’s in crisis. 

She was 22 when she was diagnosed with autism. The diagnosis was a difficult thing to get, because females are often overlooked in the autism world, especially adult females. But, once she received it, it felt like something clicked. It felt like things finally made sense and she didn’t feel like she was just crazy. She was autistic. It made her no less capable than a typical person, but she did have her challenges. 

When Katrina was 28, she was raped. She was working in a local mechanic shop, when she agreed to go to dinner with a coworker. When he brought her home, that was when it happened. She hasn’t had sex since. She doesn’t really like being touched as it is (aside from pressure hugs during meltdowns), so being violated in such a way just made it that much worse. The incident resulted in a pregnancy. 

Many questioned if she was fit to be a mother, and many suggested alternative options to keeping her child. Katrina, while upset about the circumstance in which it happened, was looking forward to trying to be a mom. She wasn’t sure if she’d be a great one, and was afraid she was too ‘unstable and unpredictable’ for it, but she was going to try. Thankfully when she confronted her rapist and told him, he wanted nothing to do with either of them. Katrina got a restraining order, and many months later gave birth to a baby girl who she named Shelby. 

One of her special interests is cars. She’s loved cars since she was young, and often wanted to be with her dad when he was changing tires or going to get work done on their car. That love and interest never changed. She got a business degree in university, and she had dreams of opening up her own auto repair shop. She had done a few apprenticeships over the years to learn the craft, and eventually mastered it. She made that dream of a shop a reality two months ago when she and Shelby moved in with her sister in Vesta. She had enough saved up to open the shop up. While it’s not as big as other mechanic shops out there, she was fast, not as expensive as a car dealership doing repairs, and she knew what she was doing. She just wants to prove to everyone that a person with autism can be in a position of power in the employment world, and can succeed.

Having the help from her sister for Shelby has been huge for her. It was a struggle to be a single parent, and she still doesn’t think she has it down. Katrina just wants to do what’s best, but sometimes she has her moments where her quirks are too much. She doesn’t know how to explain to her daughter that while she’s fully able to do things typical people do that she’s still different.

Yes! We are still open and we are still active! This week was a limbo phase for us but we’re settling down with new admins and will love to see some new faces on our dash :)

Hello! You don’t know me yet, but I’m MC. I’m a good friend of Kae’s and she’s asked me to come on as co-admin! I’ve heard so much good about this group and I can’t wait to interact with you all. I’m a little nervous, but I’m hoping this will all be smooth sailing for everyone. Much like Kae said, there’s no intentions of changing anything, so fear not! I don’t want to shake things up and mess with the dynamics. I’m just here to help with photoshop stuff and maintaining things on the main because in my 10 years of roleplaying, I know how much work it can be- especially now with these crazy times. I’m going to be bringing in a character of my own, so hopefully you’ll all like her. I’ll have her character post done shortly, as well as her account. My mascot here on the main is going to be the always beautiful Courtney Ford. I got to talk to her once and she was wearing the best Star Wars shirt ever. Anyways, I’m happy to be here and to be helping out. ♥

Hi lovelies! I know this week has been a little weird for all of us due to the transition of admins but I’m hoping to do right by Katie stepping up into her role. I would like to keep the same environment that we’ve always had and I’m not making any changes to the group. I will be bringing on a friend of mine and we’ll work as co-admins. I’ll let her make her introduction herself! I’ll be using Zoe Saldana as my mascot. If anyone has any questions, one of us should be online almost 24/7. We’re also open to any task or event ideas! I’m not planning on doing an activity check for about a week or so.
