Family + headcanon
Send me a ship + a word, and I'll tell you the first headcanon that comes to mind!
So, you didn’t put a ship in so... I’m just going to pick one.
Hanzo/Widowmaker
This could probably go for a lot of ships with Hanzo, but with Widow and Hanzo in particular, I feel like they would be both terrified of the concept of having a family for themselves.
With Hanzo, even though he’s tried to be on the down-low when traveling, he’s still a Shimada and has many enemies, even after fleeing the Clan. Moreover, I think he still sees himself as dangerous, which is something that he knows he is. So, with those facts in mind, he is frightened at the thought of putting the people he loves in danger.
With Widowmaker she’s also scared. Of course, due to what Talon has done, she doesn’t exactly show it. But, like Hanzo, she’s also dangerous, and, with Talon seemingly looming over her, there still is a fear that something could. Moreover. due to the brainwashing and experimentation done onto her that she is slowly breaking away from, Amelie isn’t too sure of what would happen to the child exactly, especially if they are affected by what Talon had done to her.
Either way, they don’t know what to do or think of really and it takes a long time to process the fact that having a family of their own can even be a possibility.
Though, on a lighter note, I feel if they were to have a child of their own, these two would be protective as fuck. Not like to the point in being a helicopter parent, but in more small ways. A few examples:
Stare at their kid funny? Death glare.
Most likely would change the kid’s last name so that they don’t have a connection to either of the parents for fear of the kid being kidnapped.
Hanzo would primarily pick them up from school/go to parent-teacher conferences and try to dress in a way that doesn’t raise suspicion. Though, for Widow, I feel like she would wait for them in the parking lot if she were the one to pick them up.
Both would teach the kid how to defend themself and look for escapes.
Also, with anything school-related, both Amelie and Hanzo go by different aliases.
Also, probably won’t tell their kid of their pasts until they get older, but they definitely try to avoid the topic.

Warm
It was the only word that came to mind as Hanzo sat at the dining room table. Not just the temperature, cozy against the chill outside - it was more than that. It was in the details all around the small house, from the casual throw blankets to the framed photos on the wall. Angela's sunny disposition seemed to have informed the color of the decor, with soft shades of yellow and persimmon mixing with cream colored accents.
The greatest warmth was with the homes occupants. Genji and Angela had greeted them at the door with such joy, even Hanzo had had to smile.
From his vantage point, he could see into the kitchen where they were preparing dessert. His brother and new sister-in-law moved around each other in the space smoothly, as if they'd been together for years more than they had. It just seemed natural.
He saw Genji bump Angela, hip to hip. She jumped, then turned to plant a kiss on Genji's cheek.
Hanzo felt a nudge under the table. Amusement sparkled in Amelie's eyes.
"Nosy," she teased.
He reached over and took her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. Her skin may be cold, but he knew the person inside was full of warmth. And she had kindled a fire in his heart, too.
Hanzo looked back towards the kitchen. He was grateful. After everything they had endured, they had each found peace. They had each found a warm place to call home.
I plan on drawing all of my favorite Overwatch ships, the list is eventually going to become longer.

Second Overwatch couple artwork... DUN DUN... Venomous arrow <3 This is a rare one but good one, I love this sniper couple. Definitely deserves some recognition.
I really dig the idea of Hanzo teaching Widowmaker how to use bow and arrow. So I decided to draw exactly that! I am not good at drawing proper archer poses since I don’t have too much knowledge. I searched a bit online and then winged the rest. Hope it passes,,, XD
ALSO DRAWING HANZO IS SO HARD. Man,,, I had to redraw his face like 4 times? and I still think I could have done better.
Have an awesome day and thanks for viewing my artwork. Every like and reblog is appreciated. Feel free to check my other OW artwork. You are also more than welcome to send me asks about Overwatch, I love chatting about the game!
